Thanks Gary, I'll be sanding and painting as soon as I can. The car does have rust...(under the battery, in the hatch, over the rear lights) but I'm not sure how much yet. I've peeled back the carpet inside and that doesn't look too bad. I'm looking for a good body shop in the area here to address the major rust first. I teach for a living so the shop will also have to be somewhat affordable. I know there is a local club here, just gotta find em and see what they recommend. Jacob

Well, for a little while I will have to drive it. But, I do plan to restore it with maybe a few upgrades. The body and paint will have to be first. They are the most lacking.

Hey y'all, Glad I found this place. I just bought a 1976 280z. It's going to new a little TLC but I think I'll keep her. She runs good... started right up after a new battery and cable. I'll post pictures soon. Jacob
