Anyone in LA Going To This?
......Wow, I totally missed that thread during my absence. Ummmmm......I won't set foot back in that kitchen and "stir up any stew" as Jason put it. Er, umm.....maybe I'll see some of you there if I go.

Anyone in LA Going To This?
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/car/457014004.html ...Eagle Rock is between Pasadena and Glendale, north of Downtown LA.

So Cal Wildfires
I noticed the LA skyline draped in this puple haze this morning on the way to work. This time it isn't the smog.......unfortunately.

*heart broken*
ouch! Well, good thing you're OK. A friend of mine went over a cliff in his 72 240 and landed in a tree upsidedown. He walked away with only a few scratches. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you.

Do It In A Datsun
Great story. Rivals a couple of mine.

Question: According to your list of cars, I see three Z's. Which one was totalled?

Do It In A Datsun
.......$^!#. Well, I'm 5'7 so.................perhaps I'm speaking to a smaller audience than I figured.

Do It In A Datsun
There's plenty of leg room. :cheeky: Just watch out for the parking brake. That can get in the way.

So Cal Wildfires
I'm all the way up here in Los Angeles, and my allergies are kicking in, I believe from the fires. Good luck to you.

.....OK, who has? :cheeky:

so I'm planning to get an S30 Z! 240 or 280?
Looks decent from the pictures, and the price sounds right. You may want to ask him further about the mileage, anything rebuilt, and why he's selling it.

I'll be on the lookout.

Vegas Z?
I'd hit Craig's list and check out Vegas, and other citiies. Stay on that site alone for a while and you'll find something. That is if you are not willing to travel too far. That's its advantage as opposed to E-bay and such.

240Z in movies
...Sort of an erie Z32 spotting, but anyone recall the red one on fire at the Pentagon on 9/11? It was in this one picture. The red 300ZX was parked in proximity of the attack.

My Beloved 78
.....Oh, I did however install the rear bumper this weekend, all myself. Piece of cake. Now I won't have to hide the rear anymore from friends.

My Beloved 78
I love what this thread (that I started) is turning into. Wow, I created a bra-less monster.

Take a look at this Ebay car.
The current color combo reminds me of a Ferrari. Looks cool to me, but I do like the green / tan package as well.

Sorry about your loss. How long did you have her for? .....Bright side: Maybe we can help you look for a new one. I live in Pasadena. Lemme know what you might be looking for.......of course after you're done grieving over your last one then I'm sure you'll be ready.

1969 240Z HLS30-00059 for sale.
Seller of #51 is notorious for asking a hefty price for Z's. I won't disclose further details about his other activities.
-
so if you could do ANYTHING to your Z...
Blasphemy.....just buy a G37.

Anyone here drive thier Z during the Winter ?
Sure do....Then again this is in LA. However, I learned the hard way about fish-tailing and driving in the snow. Nearly lost her after ramming her into a snowbank and being stuck. Had it not been for some helpful locals, I'm not sure what would've happened. Thank God this was before the bodyshop!

Ever swap in your Z car?
....My daily driver (86 300ZX) for a Jag E-Type..........or a 72 240Z

1969 240Z HLS30-00059 for sale.
Poor Z. Not only rusted but somebody had to paint it that God-awful color. By the way, what's up with those tin-can hub caps too? What a shame.
