I've come across some NOS fuel pumps over here, part# dont say me anything and the seller only know they are for Datsuns. My car is more than a hour from me, so can one of you that have a spare, take some measurements for me, i like the distance from center to center of the mounting holes and also length of arm. Thanks Chris

Yes it is There is a little retainer spring, lock spring, what ever on the end furtherst away from the valves, take that off and then you can force the follower up wit a big screwdrive and to the side, hope this makes sense. Chris

Just take off the rocker arms, it's pretty easy, use a big screwdriver and remember to put them back on in the same order as you remove them. Chris

  16. Hi Guys I'm about to install my HI-6 on my Z, anyone running one, i like to know how to hook it up, it will have to be connected to a Pertronix. Chris
  17. If you have 16" as left over, can't you post a pic of that, cross section view and even better if it could be compared with the original. Chris
  18. Well can you take some and post them, no usefull pics on HybridZ.
  19. Any good photos to share with usChris
  20. Look behind your tach, check if you have a 3 or 4 wire, that will tell you, also do your intake have all that EGR stuff and flat top carbs ?.Chris
  21. Blitz21, look at Steves signature, XenonS30, go there and download a FSM, download a 240z and a 260Z manual, you will need the 260Z, being the -73 is a odd mix (depends on the build date), i have never seen a -73 wiring diagram for a model with 3 wire tach. Chris
  22. Do not start that engine before you have changed the oil and oil filter !!!......
  23. ChrisZ replied to v4vAnimalMother's post in a topic in Help Me !!
Your backyard mechanic is somehow right, the wear on your engine is equal on all cylinders, try to add a squirt of oil in to the cylinders and make a new compression test, if the numbers goes up, you have worn rings, there is much more in to this, more than i will try to explain in another native than my own, others might want to chime in. Chris
