Are you sure you need that in Norway, being it is a vintage car, i didn't have any problems here. I think we have another member from Norway here, who have had his car from new, he should for sure have that info. Chris

Some Kiwi 240Z pictures
Yes very nice car indeed. Try this: Download VSO image resizer, it's a free version, you don't have to pay for private use, when that is done, you open the program, choose the image you want to convert, after that choose the size you want and press OK, now you will have a resized copy in the same folder as the original photo. Hope this helps. Chris

Google street view
Dude, you might be right, i thought about it, would it be an idea to move it to members section, or is there a way to post only the photo, Dennis. Mr Camouflage, yes it is a corvette, around 70K for one here, he has a son that is the high score in our national soccer team. I just removed my link, dead topic. Chris

Arne once made a great Google maps thread, i wan't to follow up on that by starting this thread. Post your street view photo. Go to Google maps, type in your adress http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=da&q=&layer=c&cbll=40.758437,-73.985164&cbp=11,42.04,,0,-6.66&ie=UTF8&om=1&panoid=s_TY766yv4kWDddHKN8OVQ&t=h&ll=40.75844,-73.985195&spn=0.042649,0.174923&z=13&utm_campaign=en&utm_medium=ha&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-bk-svn&utm_term={keyword} , click on the pin and click on street view, in upper right corner you will see a link button, click on that and choose HTML link Chris

One step improvements
This is a great idea for a topic and i will follow it for sure. I have many plans for a L28 flat top i'm going to build, EDIS controlled with Megasquirt, then i have the oppertunity to add TBI, witch i won't have with Megajolt. E30 head, modified with bigger valves, some porting, chamber work and re ground cam. For the time being, i'm looking in to TBI, either bike throttle bodies (Triumph TT600 / T595) or BMW M serie throttle bodies. Total control over spark and fuel !!! Chris

3&4 cylinder rich
I suppose when you say dual Webers, it is like the ones i the attachment. I have a feeling that this is ignition related, have you tried to pull a plug wire when the car is at idle, just to confirm you have a spark ? I 2nd on NGK and remember to gap them correct, to much of a gap your spark will be to weak when running stock points / coil. Start with a fresh set of plugs and check your dizzy to see if the advance mechanism is frozen up. Chris

260 tach woes
If so, you can use a 260Z / 280Z tach, put the guts in the 240Z tach, you can also try to pull a wire from the single terminal on your tach (yellow wire) and run it directly to your coil. Chris

L20 with a E30. not a 2.8L
You cal your self "77 Fairlady owner", do you have a Fairlady ?
-
260 tach woes
Todd, do you have a 4 wire or a 3 wire ?
-
260 tach woes
Yeahr, what a romance, ha. Yes i'm aware of Solvang, i actually have the only low wind shield here, most of the car that is. Chris

Triple Carbs
You can run 40's on a L28, it will run out of air at higher RPM's (around 5500 - 6000 according to the books) choke, jets, tubes, dunno, try it and correct it. If you want to run a big cam, forget the 40's Chris

260 tach woes
Todd, it depends on if you have a 3 wire or 4 wire tach, being it is a late -73 i guess it is a 3 wire and i haven't found a correct wiring diagram for that specefic model, i think you will find the resistor in a 260Z wiring diagram, the resistor in the diagram you have attached is as far as i know the ballast resistor. i got a quick question
If my memory serves me correct, then it is 27 millimeter. Chris

Mikuni's VS SU's??
You can't beat the sound of triples, i will 2nd Jon's opinion on the cam size, if it is for track, an over bored L28 with a big hot cam and a aim for a high rev engine, then you will probably run out of air with SU's and 40 triples, so i suggest you go for nothing less than 45, if you want triples. Have a look at this Swiss Z: '>
