  1. A set of 6 L24 pistons with rings are in the $200 area, i got mine from Northern Autoparts. Chris
  2. I'm curious to know what kind of E88 head you have, can you post a photo and also a measurement of the valves size. Chris
  3. I think it also could have been a lack of a metric screw, that could have made the PO bend it and use the lower hole, when i got my car the grille was mounted with wrong screw in a smaller size in the uppe hole:ermm:. Chris
  4. I'm 99% sure that i have the grill mounted in the upper hole on my car, i'm not close to the car at the moment so i can't have a look. Chris
  5. Some claims that the N42 block is the best for a stroker, anyway for a California car i guess that combo isn't anything special, but if it were here where the avalibility of Z parts are very low, that combo would be special. Still your motor isn't stock, witch must make it special. Chris
  6. :stupid::stupid::stupid::stupid: I just mis read this and mentioned where i have my FSM, i think the owners manual is in some box, stored in my office. Chris BTW, i think the 280Z manual is bigger because of all the pages with shops that can take care of fuel injection problems .
  7. Mine is in a fabric kind of folder and while working and driving the car at the same time, i have it behind the drivers seat, it's a perfect fit, otherwise i keep it in my office. Chris
  8. Isn't the dash and center console from a -73 model ? Chris

On the back of my spedometer is some device installed, it looks as a relay, can someone please explain to me what it is. One of the wires that connet to that device goes to the face disc, i wonder why, i'm about to swap in a km/h spedo from a Fairlady, i need to use the old housing, being that the Fairlady housing is the later type, out from the back of the Fairlady spedometer is two wires, one to the face disc and the other to ? and what is that suppose to be good for. Chris

What is the headache with twice pipes, i have no headache. I made my own system, based on the Clifford system and it sounds mean, got to post a video for you guys. I still need to figure out how the tips have to look, but i'm leaning against the Ansa look, the tips will also affect how it sounds. Chris
  16. Steve, i try to explain the best i can "snug" is a word i have to add to my english, except of that, you did explain exact what i meant. If i have to explain it even better, i have to do it in Danish, not sure if that will help- Chris
  17. Stephen, i think we can split it up in stock and non stock answers, i like this forum because it suits me and my build. I see CZCC as a forum for people wanting to keep it stock or for minor bolt on upgrades, cutting, swapping and such, people will be better of at hybridsz. And yes, lots of more patience here. Chris
  18. "No spindels in the front", of course there is spindels in the front. Cutlass372, take off the caps, take out the clevis pins, tighten up the nuts, not more than the wheels still turn freely, re install the clevis pins and you are there, this is not rocket science. Chris
