jerz, thanks for the photos, no need for you to email them to me, just send over your grill and ill take it from there :classic: After reading over this post again i was sitting in my dining room thinking, then i looked at my fire oven and there was the color, right feel and right shine, maybe a little lighter, i had allready a can of that color and decited to use it, the parts are painted and on the car, i didn't manage to take some pics before i drove the car out to the painter (need to get some areas fixed) When i get the car home i will upload some pics of the result, still i like to see some clear shots taking in day light, some in sunny weather and some in shaded weather. Anyone up for taking some photos and post them ? Chris BTW is the rivets still avalible?

Then there must be something wrong with mine, i'm 6'5" and got enough space above my head, something like 2" to the head liner. Chris

If the grass stuff stinks, don't smoke it. It can be the cushion's and i'm planning on getting some new from Les at CDM, but this feels more like i'm sinking down because of weak springs. Any others like to chime in ? Chris

I'm getting pretty tiad of searching and nothing have come up so far. This is the lazy way of finding out and since i don't want to pull my seats now i'm asking around. Do the -73 seats have springs and not webbing, i put my hand under the seats and it feels like it have springs, i like to get the seats tightened up a bit, i'm getting pretty tiad of driving around feeling that my arse:ermm: is right over the floor pans, any hints on how to do this, can it be done. Chris

Ron, nice looking fairlady grill, it got me to think about that i also have a grill like that, maybe i should have a look at that for a color comparison. Chris
  14. I think you should go for it, just take your time, after all you have the car now. My own car had only minor rust (see photo below) but it had and still have tons of other small issues i have to attend to, small parts in need of replacing or missing, i have to get them from the US pay a lot in shipping and import tax, but one day i will get there and so will you. Maybe you should pull the motor and tranny and put it on a rottesire(i know spell error) it will make things a lot easiet to work on. Chris

Once again you guys are great. And i who thought that Berglund was Norwegian, it might have to be with that Arne is a more common name in Denmark and Norway than in Sweden. Okay i will try to get it flat Yeahr that's nice i found this #951079 on Motips homepage but only as a repair stick. I'm only freshing up the car this time, but really appreciate the formula, i will try to see if i can have it translated to whats common paint brands here when the time comes to get the whole car re painted. If any other have clear photos, then please post them. Chris

Thanks Arne, you got it almost right, except the fact that Denmark isn't the capital city of NorwayLOL Is the dull finish like semi gloss, then a can of clear semi gloss / satin could do the job. You say metallic content, i thought there wasn't any metallic in the color, i cant really see it, mine is so faded that i can see the primer true the grey. The most avalible paint here is Motip, i can get Plasti-kote but not many have them in stock Chris

Yes i'm aware of Les selling matching colors but i believe i can't have it send with airmail and also the price will be in the high end after shipping and import tax is added. Chris

Do any of you have a tail light trim or grill freshly painted in the stock color, i really like to look at some photos of the stock color in order to find a matching rattle can. Come on guys, let me have some shots:). Chris

On the vacuum bell is a little arm that attaches to the fix plate, disconnect that arm and try sucking in the hose, if the arm moves it works, then put your thonge at the end of the hose to maintain tha vacuum, if the arm moves back you have a leak, if it stay the assembly works and you have to look at the plates that Arne is referring to. Chris

Are you sure it's not a 230 ?, well you will need a lot of work if it is, adapters is avalible, can't remember where. Chris
  22. I will go with Arne on this, cheer up it's just work and believe me, being that i'm from rusty Denmark, i have seen lot worse rusted out cars rebuild. Try to look at this, it might make you feel better: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=134765 it can be done. Chris
