So you got the seat covers ? how do they look, is the pattern okay? and who is the fabricator? Seat covers is all i need for my interior, all the rest is in a pretty good condition for it's age, except of the fading of the upper part of the door panels. Chris

Sorry, i have to say no, it turned out the spare set of struts i have, was with inserts, i just got my hands on the last avalible set of inserts, that i could find here in Denmark, so for now i hope the original struts that is on my car, don't have inserts, so i can have those rebuild.Chris
  9. How do you want me to do that Jim?
  10. I doubt, try hybridz

Thanks Stephen, were you on lookout for a Euro dizzy ? Chris
  12. I just had a look at your poll, the "ship it to Denmark" option is missing. Chris

Steve, i have been looking at these and i have requested a shipping price for two of them shipped to Denmark, but that ¤/%/¤&(&(%#( don't reply my request. I think there will be room for two of them out back, mounted in a 45ish degree angle and if they dont work, not much have been wasted at that price. I want to here my triples Chris

Oh, didn't see that, the only experience i heve had with studdering was due to worn throttle shafts, but that was on a single carb with only one barrel. Have you read the Weber and Dellorto book ?
  18. ChrisZ replied to Mikez73's post in a topic in Carburetor Central
Dave, it looks to me as you have your FPR on the hose feeding carb one and two and then no FPR on carb 3, is that right ? If you put 7 psi on the third carb, your needle valve might leak, if the mechanican pump is on, you can just cut the Mr. Gasked off and give it a try. What engine have this setup, i think 28 chokes sounds a bit to small, i'm running 30 and will swap them to 32 soon. Chris

I was actually trying to find out who makes the ebay set, in order to find out how well the quality is. So is this Distinctive or not ? Chris
  20. That is so much not true, over here it's a "lommelygte";)Chris
  21. You do not need to remove the valve cover, if you take of the filler cap, you can put your fingers down there and feel if the cam is pointing up on cyl #1

It helped me, the weight of the oil you use, must be higher than W15 witch is strut / fork oil for competition, normal fork oil will be W10, but if you run a diesel engine oil W15 can't be to much, i think. Datsun original used whale oil, "Nisseki Shock Absorber Oil A-2" ive tried to google it but not much comes up, now i am looking at this for a replacement. Still i like to know of the procedure of rebuilding, other that what is in th FSM, so if others have been there, tell me about it. Chris

Frank, what is "RPM Delo" and what weight did you put in ? Chris

Have anyone here ever tried to rebuild the original struts?, i know it can be done and they should actually work very well as new. Chris
