I like the idae, but i'm not sure people wan't to pay for international shipping. From the top of my head, i can't even remember what i have to spare, what about a -72 dash with only minor crack's, i'm not going to use it after i got a crack free. d240zx2, dibs on the mirror, if it is the door mounted one. Chris

If i'm not mistaken then the rusty one is a ZX pan, what is important is the ZX pan requires a longe oil pick up. Chris

A quick trip to google world, gave me this page http://www.mdparts.com/beck-arnley/beck-arnley-ignition-coil-178-8025.php doesen't look close to the one you put a photo up of, but have the same shape as the original, for the specs, dunno. Chris

Mike, it all depends on what one is use to and not use to, this is a small contry. Henrik, i'm not that much in to 2+2 either, so i know how you feel, if you decide to come knocking, just PM me, but bare in mind that the season is soon to end, the car is grounded from november 15th and until spring, it's an vintage inssurance thing. Here is a direct link to the ad Datsun 260Z 2+2 i just noticed it is a 2+2, don't know if you fancy that, price is 22.000 DNK ($4.000), the car is located in Lystrup. When you are living in Als, i asume that Copenhagen is a bit to far for you, if not, you are welcome to come by and have a look and feel how it is to ride a Z :classic:. Chris

The color looks more like the Nissan in the front of it, i can't remember what engine it has, but i think it is either a Turbo or some kind of RB, some might chime in and fill out here.

If you are going to ship in a container, consider to get a 40ft high cube and ship 3 shells along with your car, i think there is a fair chance to even sell the shells in advance, when i had a container shipped a year back, it ran in to $5500 from the west coast, i can hook you up with the shipping company i used or you can shop around. We had 2 roadsters and my Z in a 40ft, all on the floor and i bet you can have 4 empty shells and your car in one, if you pack it well. Chris

I stole this from the thread and i will make it easy for you. Chris
  18. First off, get hold of Ztherapy and get the right hose, only thing that will work, according to lot's of threads here. After replacing that hose, you can reach below each carb and find a little "button" that will lift the dome piston, if you lift the rear, the car will only run at the front carb, the idle should be rough, if it stalls you are to lean, if the RPM rises or continue to idle at the same RPM you are to rich, also get hold of a sync tool, you will need it. Yes there is, at least there is the cannon manifold, witch you don't want, stick with the SU's or go triples. Chris

Nice to know that WD40 actually is good for something. You couls also try such a simple thing as oil, many price stickers can be removed with sun flower oil, or similar. Chris

Did i miss something here ??... Other than that i have to 2nd most of what is stated above, oh yeahr, the Brit forum is okay as well, they also act as grown up's. Chris
  22. Once again i have to send you to Zclub and get hold of mister F, he is a vendor there and being you are in the UK, i think it will be your best choice. He have a exchange rate that is 1:1 but he takes care of tax and shipping from US, it's not my first choice and that is because i have to pay international shipping once more if i buy from him. Chris

Coop / Alan, I do apologize for my post, I was not aware that it actually is Magnesium, I have seen so many times, that alloy's are referred to as mag wheels and just assumed. Chris

The attached photo show one of my Appilance wheels in progress of restoration. They were pitted like he.. and had a lot of curb rash, so after cleaning them with phosforic acid, i sanded them down and then went up in grith ending with grith 800 before buffing, not much to it, except of elbow grease. Chris
