I agree entirely. I also don't trust anyone else because it's not their car they are working on. And besides, Kharma is thereputic for me. No matter what kind of stress I am under, tinkering on my baby makes me feel better. Now my Neon is currently in the shop to repair the frame damage from the accident. However, she is in the best hands. There is no better shop in the country. And he's the only one I trust.

Well, I haven't settled with the insurance company just yet, however I think I we will be able to agree on something. I am buying the car back and I am going to save some money by doing the repairs myself. I could never let her go. We've been together for six years and have been through everything. I went to see her today and brought an expert (my brother) and we decided that it's doable. So Nitro's recovery will be slow but it will be done. Now, I am in the search for a piece of crap that's maybe been wrecked in the front to buy and take parts from. In the meanwhile, I'm going to buy an o2 sensor and get my pink Hyundai running for me to drive to work. Then I will be able to give back that wretched Grand Prix rental. So I guess it's all going to work out. I have more doctor visits and such to endure for the next couple of months. But that's no big deal. Thanks for helping me through this, guys. You've been more help that you can imagine.

Thanks everyone for your concern. And yes, it was Nitro, my baby. She's been toatled and I will buy her back and slowly repair. As for me, I am in a metric ton of pain and the Soma they gave me hasn't done anything at all. I have a bunch of phyisical therapy and doctor's visits in my future. They offered me $3500 if they take her and $3000 if I keep her (and I most certianly will) The estimate came to almost $6000. They offered me a mere $400 for my "pain and suffering" I guess they don't realize that I do not sleep any more due to the tremendous pain I'm in. Oh well. I don't think it would have hurt any more if it were the Z. I love them like they were my children. All of them. And now I feel dead inside. Everyone tells me that she's just a car... but it still hurts like I've lost a loved one. I suppose time will heal my sorrow and the good thing is that I still have my life. Please remind me that I still have my Kharma.

Wednesday, I was rear-ended. I was stopped at a sign and the lady behind me (in a big Ford truck) had no plans of stopping. I spent the night in the hospital and now I am in incredible pain. Here's the car.

No, it's not a huge deal. I have a bit of expirence with body work and I am certian I could so it. I just hate to put holes in her. Plus the brackets look so much better if you take the extra tabs off the sides. I think that's what I will probably do. While I'd love to keep her perfect and original, I don't have the kind of money needed to maintain such a idea.

I was thinking about getting a second set of headlight buckets for this, however, money is tight at the moment. I am considering drilling some holes. But I need some time to consider. I don't want it to alway be on my mind when I'm driving the car.

I have two Neons and Two Hyundai Accents, I have all the fuel economy I need right there. . They are purely for appearance. And being that they were a gift from my boyfriend, I really don't want to lose them. That would break his heart (as well as mine and Kharma's). Besides, I do a lot of highway driving to and from work. I don't take the Z all the time but in the summer, she goes with me a lot.

I'm installing my headlight covers (finally!!!!) and I'm reluctant to drill holes in my Z car. However, I don't know if I'd trust that double-sided acrylic sticky tape that comes with them at 120mph on a windy highway. What do you think? any one have horror stories?

I don't think they're ugly. Kharma probably wouldn't ever see them, but they are most definitely not ugly.

Personally, I love them both. I would love to get a '76 280Z 2+2. That way I would have the matching set. I think the 2+2 is awesome because you don't see very many of them. They are the unusual of the unusual. Hang on to her and love her forever.

Well, the 350Z's (as well as the newest altima) kinda have the s30 hips. Not quite as bold, but I can see it. I hate to admit it. I do like the 350Z's. I like everything that has a Z attatched to it, though. Since it'll be a cold day in hell before I see another s30 in my neighborhood, I'll take what I can get. Plus, those other Z guys get so excited when an s30 shows up.
