Happy new year to everybody. I've got an interesting offer from somebody in Germany(soest) who must sell his unfinished projetct with many extra parts. He mentioned a price of 2000€, what sounds interesting to me. But I do not know the car. If someody in Europe is interested, shoot me an PM. Cheers Rainer
  4. Hi Fixitman, I had the same problem. The brackets who hold the sway bar bushings, were bended up. This was caused by the car jack. Good luck Rainer from Germany

Hello Greddy, There is a meeting in Germany around 1 of May, but I don't know if it's worth to ride more than 1000Km. Because most of the times you will meet only 3 or 4 classic 240/260Z. You will see that the europeen scene is changing at the moment . The old scene is not intersted that hard anymore , and most of them have one or more a unfinished project. The interest has changed to family or other things. But the new Scene is growing fast, they are intersted in old classic cars. How many Km you would drive ? Cheers Rainer
  8. Hello Bart, the world is a village. Und US condition we are neigbours (less 10 miles) Are you comming from Tegeln too ? I have a comfortable amount of documentation. Anyway most of the sunroofes are not original, and everybody wan't to remove it. But forget to weld a sheet metal in. Look for a complet roof. Look at Marktplaats.nl 136855337 it's a very good deal ! Groetjes Rainer

  10. Hello Bart, what a never ending body work. Your pictures remember me on mull. from Norway http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFPc6VCnHSc&NR Where are you living in Holland ? Probrobably I can help you with the microfiche. Send me your adress with a pm. Cheers Rainer (Living near Venlo)
  11. Hello Juergen, very nice and clean car ! Are you part of the old german Z scene ?(Klaus and Fred from Munich). Greetings from Niederrhein. Rainer
  12. Hello Doug, I'm building a triple weber engine at the moment, and I was thinking about the same Problem. Most people disable vac advance, because the vac will not match to your dizzy anymore. To reach +/- 35 ,you need a basic advance near 20 degree, what has disadvantages for idle and start. I have found the ideal solution, at the moment I'm collecting the parts. A Megajolt controller and Ford Edis wasted spark system. This Edis system is very common on Megasquirt fuel Systems. But here it works stand alone. http://www.autosportlabs.net/images/0/0d/Mjlj_main_screen_connected.png Cost 200-250 $ What you need. EDIS-6 Coilpack +module (ebay/junkyard) new wires Controller trigger wheel. Here is some info http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=113165 http://www.autosportlabs.com/ http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&catref=C6&from=R10&mppfqy=edis&mppfqy=edis&_trksid=m37&satitle=megajolt+6&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&fts=2&fmmk=&fmmd=&fylo=&fyhi=&mppfqy=megajolt&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=47669&sabfmts=1&saobfmts=insif&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=34%26fsoo%3D2 Cheers Rainer from Germany
  13. Hello From Germany, welcome to the club. There is a very nice small 240z scene here in Germany. In September you will see some of them on the japan classisc in essen (wybi.com). When you need some 2. opinions about buying a z car we can help you. I live near Venlo on the dutch border and a friend is living in Marl. Cheers Rainer
  14. Hello A.J how about the pressure under your cover ? Is your valvecover bleeder line still connected ? Are your piston rings still o.k ? My daily car is a V6 tdi audi, and a very common cause for oil leaks is a clogged filter in the bleeder valve. Good luck Rainer
  15. Hello to all, I installed now a catalytic converter instead of my pre muffler. It's the best modification I made. 90 € And now the car doesn't have any exhaust fumes in every condition. . Sound and power hasn't changed too. But I agree that the first step should be to finetune the carbs. Best wishes Rainer
