2007 Z National Convention (ZCON) Info
Chris, Thanks for the update and the map. Can you clear up a question I have regarding the actual location for the judged show? Are the judged cars going to be on display inside the garages or outside. "The show is in the garage and fan park area of the speedway." Just curious ! The map makes it look like they will be inside. Thanks again Bob

Rare Tools on early car
Kats, Keep in mind the Nissan Parts catalog often shows parts that may apply to more than just the 240. Since they made running changes to the production cars the parts book may show a picture of the a part but it may not apply to all models of the 240Z (69- July 73). Here is a shot of the spanner wrench set that is noted in the parts book. They do not have NISSAN stamped on them. They actually have Sanki stamped on one side and Dropped Forged on the other. If you have a chance to buy any of the tools let me know. I know that Nissan USA does not have any in inventory do you think Nissan Japan would still have any? Thanks for sharing the information. Cutting up an air cleaner for the venturis
AJ, Although, you mentioned you have some filters here is an idea I used on the 73 Z I owned. I got a piece of sheet aluminum and cut it to the shape of the factory air cleaner filter/element. I then used the factory element and two wing nuts and bolted up to the air cleaner backing plate. It worked great with the venturi tubes on the 73. It gave me move air into the carbs and really had a positive effect on the performance for the 73 flat top carbs. You can also polish the aluminum very easily as well to brighten your engine compartment. Good luck with it.

Midwest Heritage Regional Z Show by IndyZ
I recently posted nearly 50 pics from last week's show in Nashville IN which was put together by the IndyZ club. It was a first class event and if you did not make it you missed a good one. The show had almost 100 Z's entered and hopefully as you can see from the pics the class of cars was second to none. Thanks again to Jeff, Mark, Beth and all the other volunteers that put on this great event.
