New member, got to get it home
I flat towed my car to the track for 8 years with no problems to the tranny or rearend. A trailer just makes it easier so you do not have to change out tires once you get to the track. Tom

Very nice and the rear flare is perfect. I still think orange is my favorite color for a Z car. Tom

Rear suspension...Guessing this is bad?
New bushings are in order for sure. Unless you like the rock hard ride of a lowrider. Tom

Update on the 3.1 stroker
Is it going to be carb'd or FI? Any idea on what cam you are going to use? We just tore down my block to check bearings before putting it in the car and trying to decide if my cam(460 lift and 270 duration) is going to be enough to really work my triple OER 47mm carbs. Tom

Rear suspension know solved...stupid
Been there and done that. Except mine was the gland nut on the strut cartridge and I was on track. Oops... Tom

I have pretty much the same setup except I did it piecemeal instead of from MSA. The pads will make a bit of difference. I run Porterfield race pads in my 260 track car and they usually last about 7-9 hot laps at Sebring, 17 turns sub 3min laps). Heat is an issue as I will be fabricating cooling ducts to the fronts. This is with the solid rotors, not the vented ones. Tom
