  1. I flat towed my car to the track for 8 years with no problems to the tranny or rearend. A trailer just makes it easier so you do not have to change out tires once you get to the track. Tom
  2. A trip to the Skip Barber 3 day racing school at Road Atlanta. It was cold but it was fun.
  3. The second video gives you a good shot at seeing how you did clipping the cones. Good teaching aide for you.
  4. Your offering price is what I paid for mine in the same condition as the one you are looking at.
  5. Very nice and the rear flare is perfect. I still think orange is my favorite color for a Z car. Tom

Great story. I bet we all wish we still had our first z cars. I know I do. 1972 240Z lost first year at U of Ky.
  7. New bushings are in order for sure. Unless you like the rock hard ride of a lowrider. Tom
  8. Nice looking Z car and have a great trip. I have family that lives in San Gallo(spelling) and Goldach. Switzerland is a beautiful country to drive around. Tom Born in Regensburg Germany now in Florida
  9. Is it going to be carb'd or FI? Any idea on what cam you are going to use? We just tore down my block to check bearings before putting it in the car and trying to decide if my cam(460 lift and 270 duration) is going to be enough to really work my triple OER 47mm carbs. Tom
  10. Been there and done that. Except mine was the gland nut on the strut cartridge and I was on track. Oops... Tom
  11. When I had my 240 back in 1979 I remember Old Spice or Brut being the No 1 smell!!!! Tom
  12. I agree with the above statements. I got his first 3 piece IMSA rear spoiler and was very happy with ti. Tom

Got your post just in time to see your race. Only to see Jesse Prather pass you about lap 9 or 10. Good race... Tom

I have pretty much the same setup except I did it piecemeal instead of from MSA. The pads will make a bit of difference. I run Porterfield race pads in my 260 track car and they usually last about 7-9 hot laps at Sebring, 17 turns sub 3min laps). Heat is an issue as I will be fabricating cooling ducts to the fronts. This is with the solid rotors, not the vented ones. Tom
