Used 1972 240Z Parts
I should clarify it is only the power antenna SWITCH; not the antenna itself. Sorry I do not have a power antenna for sale.

Ultra-perf tires
After further research, I'm now leaning toward Bridgstone Potenza S-03 over Michelin Pilot Sport. All others have fallen off the list. Any feedback out there on these two tires?

16 inch Rims
More data just for your reference. I redid my suspension/wheels about 10 yrs ago, going to the setup illustrated in my gallery at: <http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=2337&size=big&password=&sort=2&thecat=500>. These are 15x7, zero offset Panasport rims, with Good Year GS-C tires, 225/50x15. We trimmed out the fill rubber at the top of the shock towers to lower the profile without reducing suspension travel. I have Eibach progressive resistance springs with KYB gas shocks. The only mods were to roll the metal lip on the rear fenders to eliminate tire rub. But now I'm redoing it again. This time 16x8 Panasport C8's (4-3/4" backspace), and I'm considering Bridgestone Potenza S-03s size 245/45x16. New shocks and coilovers will take up less space on the inside thus the positive offset. Food for thought...

Ultra-perf tires
I'm looking for recommendations for the best ultra-performance tires folks have found out there. I have a 1972 240z with numerous performance upgrades, including 16x8 Panasport racing rims (4-3/4 backset). I'm looking at size 245/45ZR16. This is a weekend-only vehicle so these tires will be used exclusively in dry conditions as I will rarely if ever be driving the car in the rain or on wet roads. I'm strongly considering Michelin Pilot Sport, Dunlop SP Sport 9000, Bridgestone Potenza S-03, Goodyear Eagle F1, and Pirelli PZero. Thanks in advance for any ideas. J. Zorzy

Rubber brake line grommets
I need some engine compartment parts for a restoration, so they should be in top condition. Here is a detailed description of what I need: 3 rubber clamps that wrap around clusters of brake piping on the firewall - one has 4 holes in it, is slightly curved, and mounts on the back-center of the engine compartment, just above the transmission. It holds 3 brake pipes and a fuel line I think. The second rubber clamp has 3 holes for brake piping and mounts just to the left (toward the battery) of the first clamp. I'm not sure about the location of the third clamp (my mechanic disassembled them), but I believe it also has 4 holes. Again, they all hold piping and are themselves held in place by flat steel clamps and screws. See picture of old ones attached.

Which Alternator?!
I need to replace my alternator. I have a 1972 240z built 6/72. According to my ZCD, the correct part number should be 23100-P0102(R - all now are rebuilt), which indicates a 12V-50A Hitachi LT150-05B. However, Courtesy Nissan shipped me a P0103R (Hitachi LT150-10R). To further confuse things, I am told the part number I should look for is 23100-U5800R or -H6206R. Exactly which is correct??!

Right door hardware
Sorry to confirm the only way they are available (new that is) is by buying the whole handle. I found a new one about 3 yrs ago but don't know if it is available anymore. I would guess that 99 out of 100 used Zs where you might find a handle will be missing the chrome caps.

Windshield wiper motor for 1972 240z
I need a wiper motor for my 240z. It's no longer available from Nissan and I've checked everywhere including Courtesy in TX and Motorsport in CA. Will also consider rebuild if you have any ideas on sources. Thanks, J.Z.
