Looking to buy the Metal Ring that holds the inner rubber shift boot down for S30 Cars (71-78 Z's).Also if you have the inner shift boot in good shape then that will be a Plus. Please let me know if you have it. Jamal 602-433-1161 kuwaity63@hotmail.com

This Z is a 70 and I believe the later year models has a wider tunnel shifter opening....I already have a bent shift rod!!

Then I decide to swap my extra 280ZX 5Speed tranny to my 240Z....... I think I need to cut out the tranny tunnel to clear the shifter rod. What you guys think?? First..the 4speed out..... Then the 5 speed in and the shifter hole is too narrow.......also I had to cut the outlet exhaust pipe to clear the tranny......I am not worry because I will install a headers.

Thank You guys....now I have a brake lights. I just wired the brake switch with 12V source from the Fuse box.I chose the interior Dom light,glove box light and map light Fuse.....Working good now.No blowing horns on me any more. Lol

Oh well .....just mounted a new cheap muffler today until I get my system from Japan(Trust twin Pipes and twin Stack tips Exhaust System). Surprisingly this ebay muffler sounds good.

Thanks for the tip. I tried to get a 12v source and I wired the brake switch direct from the battery,,,,after that I noticed the wire got very hot when I apply the brake pedal. So from where you got the 12V source....Is your switch wire get hot too....... When I did that I got the brake light to work but the wire that comes out the brake switch will get too hot.

I agree...it's all about money and finding ways to squeeze $$ off your pocket. Still we have enough layer of OZON.

Wow I don't know that.......I will get a Vintage License Plate Next year then to avoid painful testing next year........ I will double check on that anyway. Thanks for the tip. Jamal

Today Passed emissions and got it register for one year.....Tuff rules here in phoenix.....only Pre 67 are exempt from test. Reliable daily drive now....... Not bad numbers anyway.

Fixed my Headlight switch. Works nice now. Found a booster in ebay, bought it and installed it ......was lucky enough that the booster worked. Opened the turn signal switch and cleaned it. Still no brake lights. Bought new brake switch and installed it, also replaced both flashers and still no brake lights......checked all the grounds, still no brake lights. Still not sure what to do next!!!!
