Hi Michael, Mike McGinnis from Banzai Motorworks already has a reproduction seat reclining mechanism cover for the 240Z's. I do not know if the covers changed for the 260 and 280.

Hi Joe, Would he have a gas tank for a 72 240Z that is rust and dent free? Also looking for rear suspension parts in any condition to blast and have powder coated. Thanks for checking, Marc M

Beautiful car, I am partial to that color combination also :-) One thing that struck me is the picture of the side profile of the car, is it my tired eyes or does the rear tire not look centered in the wheel opening? Still an awesome car sold by the original owner. That adds to the value assuming there is no hidden rust. Elaine, does your mother have the original window sticker and the bill of sale when she bought it new? That would add to the value as well.

I spoke to MSA today. They stated that the club discount is approximately 10% on most items. It may be a little more or a less depending on the part being ordered. They said if you order something on sale, you would get the lower price of the two, for exemple if an item is on sale for 20% off their regular price that is the price you would be invoiced since it is a better discount than the club 10% discount. They also confirmed that this discount will apply only to new orders going forward once they have your club number on file. They will not go back and apply the discount for previous orders that have already been invoiced. 200th post

Does anyone know if MSA will still give you a discount on sale prices? I just ordered a lot of parts and was not aware we were entitled to a discount.

Blue, that would be awesome if you were to do that. Has anyone found a good source to buy new yellow cad nuts and bolts that would have same thread, pitch etc for our cars? I have searched online and at local hardware stores for a long time with no success. Thanks, Marc

I wanted to post some pictures of the vents I just got back from Mike. It is difficult to get clear pictures of chrome when the flash is required. Hopefully these pictures give you a good idea of what you can expect from Mike if you have him plate any parts for you. The quality exceeded my expectations. I have had numerous conversation's with Mike and he told me that is his goal, to exceed all his customers expectations. He is a pleasure to do business with and he is a passionate Z guy like the rest of us on this forum. Thanks Mike.

Bryan, Let's talk. I am on the planning committee for ZCON 2013. I think it would be a great idea to honor E's memory in some way at the Convention this year. I really considered E as a part of a special group of gifted posters here that I hold in high regard. He and others like him are always willing to share their wealth of knowledge to all the come to this site for advice and help with the cars we all love. That is what makes this Z community so special. He will definitely be missed on this site. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, he was too young for sure! Can you post pictures of the dry fit? If possible, would love to see a pic of it on your dash before I pull the trigger. How much did you pay for the cover? Hi Madkaw, What brand full dash cap did you buy? How does it fit over you old dash witout any glue? How does it look appearance wise, does it look like a cap? Is the grain of the plastic similar to the original finish of the factory dash? I am debating getting a full dash cap vs bitting the bullet cost wise and sending the dash out to Just Dashes or Dash Restorations.

Geroge, sorry to see your Z in that condition after all the hard work you must have invested. Metal can be replaced, the important thing is that you came out of it OK. Just curious, did you have collector car insurance and did your insurance pay for the loss or was there another insurance company involved? Has anyone had any experience with this crankeyape website?
