They take different fluids? I thought there was a certain grade that was acceptable to both. Dang, I was just about to change the diff oil, I already changed the tranny fluid.

Not to get off track again, but I get my wipers right off the shelf from Autozone, they fit easily and perfectly. Are the wipers different on the 240?

I have the black rubber one from blackdragon and I think it looks really nice with the lines of the car. It's sporty looking, even more than the stock one (not too cheap, just strapped for cash to replace it to stock) in my opinion. The chrome one looks thin, will break faster, requires a motor unless you want to pull it out by hand every time, and just looks cheaper and out of place, like it should go on a radio or tv antenna. In a word, the black one, as I said, is just sportier. Just my opinon.

Are you sure I need to replace the springs? I have a poly kit that's going on this year and I haven't planned to replace the springs. How often does a tie rod actually snap with the poly mod? My wallet is hoping that it's not an absolute need.

I like stock (I'm even used to my big bumpers now), except for some Shelby slotted mags from a 240z. All my work now is to undo a couple of crappy mods (3 inch exhaust straightpipe) to return everything else back to stock. Almost there!

I noticed on the registry that a lot of build dates as late in the year as december were being counted as that model year, not the next year. If I have a build date of 9/77, and I've been told and thought for years that my car was a 78, is that accurate? How does that work?

Weatherstripping all the way around, I want to put on most of the poly bushing kit that's been sitting in my garage untouched, new struts maybe, put together the interior plastics when I buy them again. A good tune-up would be nice, too!

Oh man, that reminds me, I took apart the stock one and made a pattern and cut it out of a thick vinyl, and it's been sitting in my drawer waiting to be sewn. I think yours looks nicer than my stock one, though. The pattern, I mean.

my 78 is named Victoria, from the Victoria British boxes that her new parts came in after I started putting her back together.

There was a Z that was a work in progress, probably was at MSA this past year, but I didn't make it to the show, so I'm not sure. It was at MSA last year. The owner was doing something to to it, like a custom body kit all around, but it was in a peach colored primer. What happened to that one? Maybe someone can tell me if he had it at MSA this year.

Before this argument continues, I think a few people on this thread need to remember a few things. You get opinions, other people get opinions. You get to disagree, you can even argue with them. I agree, it looks good on the car in your link, but a z has that slope from the hatch that you would have to deal with, it would throw off the look of the stripes, in my opinion. Who knows, maybe it would look good. I do like those stripes, but I want to put two big fat stripes coming down the driver side of the car, front to back.
