Why does the 260z get a bad rap.
No bumper sticker here, but you can if it would make you happy.

Why does the 260z get a bad rap.
I guess you can say what you wish about the 260 but back in 2009 mine took best in show at ZDAYZ. Not bragging, but just goes to show that a 260Z can stand with the best of them.

Black Sludge in Hose
It is your hose from your crank case to your pvc valve (positive crankcase ventilation) it allows vapers to be removed from the crank case to help stop the build up of sludge and moisture in your engine. It appears that it is original and would have sludge built up in it. I would replace hose and your pvc valve, and look at a good product to run thru your crank case to remove any build up, and CHANGE your oil.

Mitchell, Glad you won. It was good to put a face on the Travel'n Man. As you stated, what a good time had by all. Sad to say that David's GT-R had to go to Atlanta for repairs but still had a good time. Hope to see you there next year keep in touch and ride safe. Mike

I added an auxiliary light relay to my starter last night and it works great so far. I had changed most everthing else and still had the click, click, click on many start ups. After adding the relay I started the car many many times over a few hours and it worked each time. I used xenons30.com info to do the work, simple and easy to do...

Towing a 1971 240Z with a car dolly
That would be correct no movement in the front wheels, for the spoiler it had everthing to do with the angle and distance from the bottom of the spoiler and the tires in loading forward, the angle backed on changes so it worked fine for me. Also towing should be done with caution anyway you do it, if you us some common sence when you drive and be aware of the road conditions all things should be o.k.

Towing a 1971 240Z with a car dolly
As stated by LeonV back the car on the dolly lock the steering wheel and go. Towed mine 200 miles no problems. I did it this way because of spoiler on the front end would not clear the dolly to load.
