Kathy and Rick, I spoke with Dean Rothrock today and he was thinking either August 14th or 21st. The 1st weekend of August is Musicfest and the last weekend is the Allentown fair. He thought there might not be a good turnout on those weekends because of the other local events going on. He is very excited about the possibility of a show/cruise and told me to let him now what he needs to do on his part. I unfortunately haven't organized any shows or cruises myself, so any assistance any of the clubs can offer would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help get things going. I look forward to meeting you at Carlisle if you are attending. I know I will be talking to some members of White Rose as well at Carlisle to help coordinate this event at Rothrock.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to pass along some info for a possible show in Allentown, PA at Rothrock Nissan. I've been in contact with the owner and he would like to try and coordinate a Z show at his dealership this summer. His dealership is one of the oldest in the US and they are 1 of the few who are actually getting the new 40th Anniversary 370 Z. I've reached out to the two Z clubs that are closest to this region, but wanted to spread the word and see what kind of turn out we could get. I think we could make this one better Z shows in the area if we spread the word.

Just wanted to share with all the members that the September issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic has a buyers guide article for 280 Z's. It is really informative for anyone trying to restore or save one of these great cars. Thought I would share, since my car was the fortunate one featured in the article. The photos were taken at Carlisle's Import show in May.

I feel your pain. I'm often the only Z at shows and the shows that don't have different classes I'm stuck between classic American Muscle cars. It's funny how my car gets looked at when I'm stuck between a '62 vette and '57 Chevy.

Anybody have a good supplier of original parts? Primarily a center cap for a '80 280 ZX 10th Anniversary wheel. My cap had the center plastic portion fall out on the way to a show. I want a good condition OEM since the car only has 6600 miles on it and is in showroom condition.

I'm newer to the site and the Eastern PA (Lehigh Valley) area and looking for some local Z events or local Z clubs. Any help would be appreciated?

Anyone have any good sites other than our classifieds for parts. I'm looking for another set of rims so I can save the originals. My Z still has the original Goodyear Wingfoots from the plant. Those were specifically made for the 10th Annivesary and I want to save them for shows. I want to get a set so I can drive to local shows but save the originals for the big ones.
