I recently purcahsed a Nissan head gasket from the dealer,had to order it but arrived in a couple of days.I would strongly suggest using OEM parts for any engine assembly situation when available.There is also the possibility you head bolts are stretched and not giving the correct clamping effect needed for even torque.L24 head gasket part #11044-27L01 your napa gasket may be defective,pull the head and double check your surfaces,Good Luck!

Hey Rob,I totally understand I was that kid standing by the bridge at Road Atlanta watching BSR dominate & thinking some day......... My Dad loved Datsun240's & Triumph GT6's that was an amazing experience!

Hi Rob,If my memory is correct that may have been the GT-33 280z that was recently sold on ebay,that unit was authentic,I spoke with Mr Sharp & he confirmed the authenticity as well as reminded me very few records of these builds were kept.The new owner is very close to datsun history & my understanding was a restoration was planned.
