Howdy all, Pardon the newb question, I promise I did search. I'm looking at trading a guy and getting a '78 280z 5 speed car. He says it needs a fuel pump to run. (whether his diagnosis is correct or not it a whole different issue...but it's a place to start). My question is...what's the typical setup for a stock fuel pump replacement? Is there a low priced aftermarket one that works well? I know going through factory replacement parts channels will cost a ton, typically. And I figure these cars are at the point where folks have pretty much figured out all the "works great, costs less" type upgrades or replacments. For instance...the "mustang 5.0 syle" aftermarket fuel pumps are popular for lots of cars. I don't supose that's the case here...but maybe there's a cheap/good alternative that folks have hacked for the 280z. So...I hope that makes sense. Any insight? Thanks! Clem
