Very nice! Sounds like it's time for a new project!

whate is the value of these cars
Yep. 280's have the hood vents. Your red interior doesn't add to the value, but al least it looks like the seats are in good shape. Looks like you've got a dash cap as well, which means a badly cracked dash usually. As a baseline I tend to say any car that's running is worth $500-1000. A run of the mill, decent Z, which yours could be with some work (hopefully not too much body filler & fiberglass on it already) is in the couple thousand range. So don't worry about throwing a couple more bucks into, you could easily come out on top in the end. Like Michael said, rust (body) is the biggest issue.

People are actually bidding on this crap?
I posted on this about 2 months ago. He also sells "RARE" Z branded microfiber dusters! One member admitted to buying one of these and when he got it in the mail the decal had already fallen off!

If you did not have your Z....
I've always been partial to the P1800ES Wagon personally. I just love the glass hatch. If I had to add to my list it's be a Porsche 928. Another of my dad's old cars:D

My dad's old car. (Not the one pictured) 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Turbo 2-Door Hardtop His was dark metallic green. Seems I've got a thing for green cars.

The L28 and Nitrous
Yes, please be more specific. Do you have experience with nitrous? You've said before that you're 17 so I'm somewhat hesitant. But if you do know, please elaborate. I'll never juice my engine but I do like to hear what others are doing.

Any opinions on this car?
When purchasing a car it's always best to keep a critical eye. Especially when the car is hundreds or thousands of miles away and all you have is a few pictures and a description. All talk of the car so far has been totally legitimate and no one outright called the seller a liar. However, if you are the seller (which I believe you are) you have done yourself a disservice by representing yourself as a 3rd party in earlier posts. That is tantamount to lying, and I think you've just alienated a good number of potential buyers. Good day.

Any opinions on this car?
You're telling me you're NOT the seller? Seller's eBay ID: xcyterx Your CZCC ID: xcyter Seller's eBay location: Reno Your CZCC location: Reno What are you trying to pull refering to yourself as some "poor guy" and saying you should go take a look at what is very probably your own car! Give us some credit!

SU's and oil
I think most everyone uses ATF. Just pop the black cap on the top and pour it in. Be careful no to overfill, as excess fluid will spill down into the carb under operation and be burned in the engine. Not a big deal though. I think this is all correct, haven't messed with mine since I bought it a year ago. But it's on my list for next week actually.

Are Reproduction parts a good thing or an evil thing
Like Ron said, they're necessary for replacing missing or damaged pieces. Few of us will ever enter a Concours type show, so whether or not it's a NOS or reproduced piece doesn't matter. We just want to make our cars whole again.

act your age. Wait no... Post your age
I'm 22 and my 240 is the second car I've owned. From 15 until 20 I owned a 1987 Toyota Pickup SR5 Xtra Cab. Great little rig, lifted 3 inches, 33" tires, light bar, oversized bumpers. I sold it on eBay to a guy in Montana a year and a half ago. And shortly thereafter I picked up my Datsun. Been a member here ever since.

18 in wheels?
For the vast majority of wheels you'll need adapters yes. You're also going to have to find wheels with the correct offset (most big flashy wheels today are very offset because thats how the newer imports are), the Zs don't typically have much offset in their wheels. And you may still have to do something like roll your wheel wells. There's a sh*t ton of this info on hybridz.org

I'm in love with that design! I know how impractical it is compared to other more conventional setups, but: Inboard discs! 4 struts! Torsion bars! It's awesome!

The Solution for NLA Parts!
You're right. The end result is a part which is composed of very small orbs or strings (depending on the printer) of plastic (the plastic is usually ABS). This means they're typically not very strong and are best used in forming a mold to cast new pieces.
