I'll be there with the wife, Mon. afternoon til Sat morning. Driving the 300zx because it has a/c. Some of the local club are leaving Sun morning and caravanning down w/an overnight rest. I'm driving straight thru, very early Mon morning.
  2. Here's an interesting website: http://www.licenseplates.tv/1969-california-stat-1569.html You can customize your own replica plates - state/year/numbers and letters. Cost is about $80 delivered.
  3. This is only for a single muffler tip? I would still like to see a vertically stacked dual tip muffler package.

I'm booked also! I see they have 4 Har-tru courts available on site. Who's up for some early morning 4.5+ doubles?

How about separate lines for checking in to the convention? Those who have pre-registered and those wishing to register on the spot. The last thing I wanted to do after the 10hr drive last year, was to wait 2 more hrs to register, Which I didn't the first day. Other than that, all was good last year!
  6. They are listed again, but cheaper @ $65 a pair shipped. EBAY Item #110602307867.
  7. The code is 'P20'. I needed a new head light so I went online and this code popped up before the regular header appeared. It works with no minimum as long as you don't purchase an oil change special. I went ahead and picked up some other items for later (Sta-bil). Pretty neat to have it bagged up at the store for pick-up an hour later.
  8. Thanks for the link! I wonder if he got enough footage to make an 'on air' episode. It would make great press and publicity. I'm always surprised when talking to Z owners that I run into on the street, that they know very little about ZCON or the local and national clubs.
  9. I just realized that I posted the incorrect link. Here, is the one for KD#3087: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KD-Tools-GM-Valve-Under-Rocker-Arm-Spring-Compressor-/230512530036?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools
  10. This looks like the same one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-D-CAR-VALVE-SPRING-COMPRESSOR-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ150481297226QQptZMotorsQ5fAutomotiveQ5fTools
  11. Try 'SSuspect' classified ads here on the site. He's parting out an early 260. I purchased a pair of fresh air intake ducts from him last month at a fair price.
  12. Would have loved to have come, but made plans for Sat. already. Next time, give a little more lead time and I probably could have gotten some buds from the local Md club to come also (350's and S30's).
  13. Put me in for 1, Dave. Pappal coming shortly. Thanks again!
  14. Is there an event at the dealership?
  15. The simple carwash worked wonders. I only saw a few stragglers running along the outside today. Another wash, and maybe problem solved. Its under a cover most of the time because of a small t-top leak. I suppose it needs to breathe more.
  16. Surprisingly not in the interior, just crawling on the outside. Did the wash w/extra carwash solution. Will see results tomorrow. Maybe simplest answer will be the best.:stupid:
  17. I did just that this morning, right now in high 87 degree heat I see none. Previous to that I sprayed down the areas I saw them at with the water hose. We'll see if they are still there when the temp and sun go down. So, RAID won't harm the paint finish?
  18. Seems I've got an ant colony nesting in the body of the Z32, somewhere. About a month ago, I parked it on the grass under a cover for 2 days and the ants must have started it then. Now I see ants running trails along the cowl, roof molding, fender, door sills, engine bay peritmeter, etc. Its only on the body right now, but I imagine they'll find their way into the interior soon enough. What's safe to use w/o damaging the paint? Looking for some tried and true suggestions. My thoughts so far: 1. Bait traps? Take too long 2. Neem oil? I may try this if I can find out if a capful or two in a carwash solution would kill them. 2. Simple Green? I read online that this would kill ants. At full strength will this damage the paint?
  19. Latest forecast for DC is rain holding off til Sat. evening. Carlisle has 40%chance of rain for the afternoon Sat. As long as its dry in the morning, I plan on attending w/ the green Z.
  20. Didn't check the MSA site, but on EBAY, MSA has the left one for $97 and the right one for $87, including shipping. Still too much?
  21. Thanks Dave for the name of those screws. Went to the local hardware store store and asked for 'thread cutter screws' and he knew exactly what I wanted. They were only 31 cents each. By the way, this was one of the small local hardware stores, where you're greeted at the door by someone who is actually helpful, not one of the big box stores. Sadly, only a handful remain in our area.

That's our 'fearless' married/leader, Maryland Z Club president, Mark.
  23. This episode may have been on earlier, but I have yet to see it. It'll be shown at 12:30am EST on one of the History Channels. The synopsis says a 1980 Datsun 280ZX 10th Anniversary Edition, will be one of the subjects of the show.
  24. I bought a set last year from Massey's. Here is there ebay link to the sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-CENTER-CAPS-FOR-INDY-WHEELS-US-MAG-4-EAR-4-LUGS-LUG_W0QQitemZ350292690677QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item518f1246f5 The screws were not the right size though, still looking for some.
