My brother is out West now. He bought a H3 last year. What for? Is it status out there or maybe manhood issues?

Not interested in the 73 auto or the 280. What condition is the other 240?

Back in the day, I did do well in school. But I did(do) have good teachers(members of the site) then(now). Maybe I brown-nose too much!!

Didn't really think it would be that bad on a conversion back. Your probably right! My problem is - Ive got a good mechanic, but honest and good autobody guys I don't. My pockets aren't that deep. There's another ebay '71 in Fla. w/a v8 conversion. Talked to him last night, and he let me hear it start up. Not the Z resonance I want, sounded like a 60's musclecar. Very clean body though!

RX7's are pretty poor in the snow as are most rwd vehicles. A Trooper is also a good choice and pretty cheap. Bewary of last gen. ones as tranny gives out at 70000+. Dealer wanted 5K+ for a rebuilt one-installed. Luckily, had friend of friend who rebuilt and installed mine for less than 1K. Don't know terrain up there, but my sister in Chicago only has had a FWD vehicle in almost 40 yrs there. Something to be said for flat terrain.

Any idea on a conversion back to stock on that g-nose? The restof car looks super clean. Gonna drive up and check out the rust prone areas on thurs.

Didn't get the 240 people! Never got a test drive because it needed a brake booster, hung around for a few days and com. w/owner got sparse. Come Fri. I get a text he sold it for 8K, as is. 'Rust free' is pretty subjective, Huh? Great weather though, enjoyed the trip and experience. There's a white G-nose 240 on Ebay, might drive up to Jersey to see it. Is that G-nose an acquired taste, because I'm not sure I've got it.

Monteuma, isn't that an all white one? I have 7 of them, not exactly by choice! I've owned one since age 6 and fell in love with the breed. My current oldest male is about 10, but he still is the alpha of the group. About 4 yrs ago, my wife adopted a female abused one. Before we could spay her she came into heat. We put a pampers on her thinking the male couldn't get to her, well you know the rest. Of that litter, 2 out of the five we kept because we couldn't find good homes for them. So after nursing, the female comes into heat again before we get her to the vet. This time we duct tape the pampers around her waist and legs, what a sight! But again it didn't work, a dog is a dog as as my wife refers to me on occasion. This time we kept 3 of 6 for the same reason. She wouldn't let me put an ad in the paper, and you only have so many people you know willing to take in animals. Needless to say the female is now fixed.

I'll bet there are some good ads of the old Z in there, huh? I was only 13 then, too young to buy'em. but I do remember sneaking looks of my older brothers' mags. Can't say I remember the ads a whole lot though! I've got some old '79 issues and they have pics of my RX7 in them, full page.

We've got a Peter Angelos here in Maryland who is worse than ol' George! George will spend the bucks to at least buy the penant, while tightwad Pete won't even get us a veteran pitcher. Wonder what he did with all that Tobacco lawsuit money he won?!?

A $36 'Z'. Didn't see pics of it myself but great investment if you want to part it out. As for me, I can do basic stuff like tuneups or oil changes or replace stuff given proper directions. Major engine and body work is out of my expertise, so I need a pretty whole car. Wisdom and practicality say don't get it, but I guesss I'm not that SMART!
