Atlanta guy needs 240Z help
See where the guy is in a month or two, if he's eager to sell, he may back off raising the price. If you're out and about you might drop by Radatz Motorsports in Kennesaw or John Williams' shop in Sugar Hill. They could give you a better idea of what to expect or where a good '70 model Z may be waiting for a new owner.

Brits vs. Z's
I'd be surprised if the Mustang didn't outsell the bulk of the cars named above. Came in several different body styles with v-6 or v-8 power and has a somewhat respectable road racing history.

1972 240 s30 new to club
I'm pretty sure there's a club in Albuquerque, might be worth the trip once a month to catch a meeting.

Any experience with the 2.7 L ?
I saw that car at the Mitty a few years ago and John Williams did a very nice job. In all likelihood he will be running at the ARRC this November if you wanted to make the trip to Road Atlanta to meet him and go by Balanced Performance/Sunbelt.

I don't know what reasonable is but I kow Sunbelt is not cheap. Eddie Radatz has a shop he uses so you could probably compare options. The two biggest reasons I posed that question were to preserve the "integrity" for lack of a better way of putting it of what I am presuming is the original motor in the car. Secondly, my understanding is that building a stroker is not cheap.

new member long time owner
Post some pics, I'd love to see the car. Western WA would be a great place to enjoy your Z, you only need the heater to work!

John Williams is in Atlanta as well, do a search. Sunbelt used to be across the parking lot from his shop and he used engines in his race car prepped by them. What is keeping you from hanging on to the original block but dropping a prepped L-28 in the car?

A nice video
You need to make a trip to RA to meet John Williams at the next ARRC.

Worsening vapor lock problem.........
I have similar problems with a new electric back at the fuel tank. I'll probably just relocate it to the engine bay, the thing seems to work better when it pulls the fuel than when it pushes it.

Going to Okinawa for a month, what to look for?
I spent 3 years there from '97-'00 but didn't take my Z (big mistake). Now I'm going back for about a month and am curious what I could look for besides ChoroQ and Tomy Z car stuff at Toys R Us. I'm thinking a visit to Kinokuniya for some Nostalgic car magazines but am not really sure what else there may be to take advantage of. I know it's not the mainland where there are a ton of things to do but still, I'm just looking forward to hitting some restaurants and a vending machine or convenience store every 100 yards.

24 Hours of LeMans '08
I don't know how those guys can do 3 hours lap after lap after lap. I was also bummed Jacque Villeneuve didn't get the win but maybe he needs to drive for Audi.

24 Hours of LeMans '08
Watched about 6 hours of the coverage on Speed, I thought Peugeot would be more competitive but Audi just seemed to work their magic.

What is the best part of taking your Z out for a spin?
It's about 93 in the afternoons here, I only take the thing out after dark...so to speak.

which carb is for me
What about the SU rebuild kit from ZTherapy? It only costs about $100. Used SUs can be gotten for anywhere from $50 to $200.

I appreciate it.

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2008 Press Day
So what does the "PMC S" stand for on the rear quarter panel? I've seen it on a bunch of vintage cars and assumed it was the sanctioning body or something like that.

'73 fusebox problems, need help
Well, upon looking at Darrel's picture and looking at my own fusebox I have now correctly wired the new fusebox in, thanks for all the help, what a huge relief!

'73 fusebox problems, need help
It looked like the wire placement on the old fusebox was an afterthought. There was a piece of plastic at the top center of the old fusebox that had been cut so this wire could be run through it then attached to the back of one of the fuses. That screw hole on the left side of the back of the fusebox was where this thing was screwed in to. I'll call MSA next week and see if they have a workaround.

'73 fusebox problems, need help
I'll pick through the back of the fusebox but didn't see anything obvious. When I say infamous, I mean there's always something left over that won't fit into the replacement part...back to the worn out old fusebox, thanks guys.

'73 fusebox problems, need help
replaced the fusebox in my '73 with the MSA upgraded one. There was the infamous extra wire plugged in to the back of my old fusebox on the lower left hand side. (Pic attached). This wire was run through the middle back of the fusebox and screwed onto the back of it. (Pic attached) Any ideas what this wire was for? Do I need to put the old fusebox back in? Is there a workaround for whatever this was for?

Greg Ira’s Revtec Team Sweeps Daytona
The idea of that car as a daily driver to/from work has alot of appeal not grounded in reality. Thank you fantasy world!

Bonzi is done, well never really done
Mine's got that same interior exterior color combo and one of these decades I'm going to paint it the original color, thanks for the motivating pics.

Mitty 2008 - Kudos to Georgia Z car club!
The Mitty is a great event and there always seems to be a good showing of early Zs. Have you made it to the Z Tail of the Dragon event yet?
