71 240: Your girlfrined may not want to ride with you anymore if you change to a lightened flywheel. You are asking quite a bit just getting her to ride in a 30 year old car. Have you done anything else to the engine yet? Take the fan off and go electric first--that lightens up throttle response a bit. You're asking a lot of expensive questions about this engine!

I'm not convinced this is worth it. A decent set of Porterfields or Green stuff can go a long ways--even in the heat.

Sell it for $350 and buy a full dash cover for $80 and a set of Tokoco's for $240 OR buy a full dash cover for $80 and a nice bracelet for your wife for $250.

You say 15" and then you ask what size wheel, so I assume yu mean width? 15X7 will comfortably fit any tyre you want to put on a Z. If you mean what size tyre, then you have fallen into the most often asked question catagory. Lowered? Here's the thing: Compare 35 different pix of Z's (lowered, stock, low profile, tall, 0 offset, +1 offset, coilovers, etc, etc, etc, etc,) and you will see 35 different tyre/fender relationships. Springs sag, strut isolators are different heights, all kinds of thigs happen to make things variable. You will find tons of tyre recommendations. I have had 195/75/14's 195/50/15's unlowered and 195/50/15 and 225/50 15's lowered. They all work fine. Some have more gap than you probably want. just do a bunch of research.

I like buying them for cheap and inexpensive and when I work on it I want parts to be cheap but when I sell them I want them to be rare and VERY expensive. That does not make sense, but I think it is what everybody wants deep down inside.
