  2. This was specifically just the automatic parts not the whole car sorry. I do have the shifter though if you can PM me your email I can send over some pictures of the shifter.
  3. Forgot to say thank you everyone for your help! I have replaced all my bearings minus the centers and turned my Keys/dogs around. Everything shifts smooth now!!!! Yay no more worrying about trains hitting my car! I just have to wait for some parts to come in so I can finish doing my manual conversion!

Planning to go large injectors and probably the 14mm style. But for now I need OEM something to just work good enough to move the car between the house and storage unit as I work on it and get it under way. Used injectors are fine as long as the arnt completely shot. Didn't want to buy 6 new ones when I am just going to toss them out in a a year. Hoping for some decent used ones I know I have at least 3 dead injectors ATM. Found some thanks everyone.

I am in need of a 280zx shifter for my 82 5speed swap. I was sent a Z shifter with my trans and I just noticed that that wont work. It a S style shifter. I can trade if you want to trade otherwise I am open to a Sale
  11. I will get some pics what do you recommend for clean up just light sanding smooth it all out?
  12. Called my local dealer they confirmed not available :/ called nissanpartsdeal they also said no luck I will get some pics when I get home tonight
  13. I saw that but figured they just hadn't updated there site? I have had so many cancelled orders in the past from sites that forgot, its always the ohh opps sorry part was discontinued. Guess I could call them tomorrow and ask.
  14. Well I decided to take 5th/R apart today wasn't as hard as I thought it would be yay! But looks like the dogs/inserts are discontinued... Any ideas? I wanted to replace mine but now I am thinking I may be stuck reusing them Part number I found was 32608-E9800 looks like it no longer available according to courtesyparts
  15. I will have to get things ordered here in a bit thanks again for all your help everyone!
  16. Well I figure If I am going to take it apart i mine as well rebuild it all right? I may just have to hold off on my 5 speed swap for a bit tell I have more time to get rebuild started.
  17. Well I am glad we finally have our answer! I am contemplating taking it apart I really don't want to though lol. I do have a press and bearing puller but lacking the rest of the tools needed to get this all apart. When every thing is assembled it really shift and feels fine so i'm not 100% sold on fixing it since its only reverse thats really effected and seems to shift great regardless, but I can see the need to fix it... Ohhh what joy
  18. Is there any like official nissan documents we could compare? One that's like known 100% correct ? I agree that video looks just like yours but it's post assembly.
  19. I don't think that the brass ring gets out of index when assembled I tried a good amount of times off camera and never had any sign of miss alignment. It came in and went out off reverse every time both off camera as well as on camera (and I spun that input shaft a bunch of times! ). I could see the dog getting chewed up from all the years of use if its OEM. Your configuration on the other hand may be an improvement from OEM. Or my trans is not OEM was not built right and they just got lucky it works great when fully assembled. It would be nice if there was one more transmission out there that someone else was going to take apart that could test this whole thing out @EuroDat
  20. Yeah at 0:30 I get it into reverse spin the input shaft you can see the outshaft move and then I bump it into neutral without any problem. Video in reference
  21. Did you see the other video I posted ? When assembled everything worked fine even When I spun the input shaft it still popped out gear just fine when assembled.
  22. Video of it taken back apart
  23. Video of it assembled
  24. Alright I am uploading a video now I got a close up and everything. My reverse actually works fine as long as the back half is on/everything is fully assembled and I am using the shifter. So I think the shift fork must hold it in a specific location to keep everything happy.
