  9. Okay I did found out some new information, stil not nowing about the tranny, where can I find the code on it? Here is what i found: Block: L24 369863 Head: E30 Intake: E88

  11. Right i was mistaking about the change rate.. anyway so he must have painted it. I go call him to find out.
  12. Now i'm getting confused.. First the previous owner sad 240Z shell with L28 engine. Now i have the engine at home hanging in the stand. It clearly says L24 engine on the block. So can somebody please help me out? I think the information Carl Beck told me was right? How far can i look back in the History of this car?

  17. I don't know about the color, i don't want it have my own Z. But i even can't pay it. He ask around 15.000 euro's. I'm just a student.
  18. Sinds Z's and the parts of it are very rare here in the Netherlands. I was suprised to see a beautiful al original just 20.000 miles black Z just 6 miles from my home! Guess it's a fan. Wanted to shear the pictures here with you guys. I'm going to look soon just if he has a window for my Z. He is asking 10.000 USD for it. It's a '72 model. What do you guys think let me know...

  21. Somebody formiliar with this engine from a Corvette C4 1990. It's injection controlled L-98 engine. It's the car from a friend of mine, and needs BIG maintenance. New exhaust system and so on, originil exhaust is all rotten. I'm asking to the Americans here, because i'm not formiliar with american engines. But working on it is now problem. What are the point i have to look after? I'm going to put the engine apart, because everything needs to be checked. Thanks!

  24. Changed the plan a bit, using an air needle-hammer, cleaning goes very quick now.
  25. Okay.. i tried some things today and the best method seemed removing as much big chunks as possible and then disolve with chemicals. It worked great. So that will be my way. Thanks for the help everyone! I had a different plan for the underside, i want to zinkspray it first and then por15 or is it better to use metal ready instead of zinkspray. Because i think zink works really well to.
