Any ideas?
Hey, I have a '76, and it refuses to idle. It will start, but the engine revs up and down, sputters, and dies. I cleaned the gas tank and put fresh gas in it. I have also found a few vacuum leaks, and put tape on them, so I know where I stopped last, and what lines should be replaced. I am kind of new at this early fuel injection thing... What does everybody think? I'm kind of living in the past with large American carburated cars... Thanks! --Chad

Combo Switch Wiring
This excellent article with pictures was posted previously. Does this forum have the ability to make discussions "sticky" so they stay at the top and are easy to find? Thanks! Repairing 240Z combination.zip

Combo Switch Wiring
Hello All We're rebuilding the combo (headlight) switch on a 76 280z and we need to solder the correct wires to each of the 4 terminals. Can you folks tell us which wire goes where? Thanks! --Krivman

Cool! I will definitely keep an eye out for your Vette. Yeah, that would be cool if you brought the car by... Let me know when you are planning on it. It would be cool to compare yours with mine, since mine has had a repaint and who knows what else... Hopefully we can meet up in the near future! --Chad

ok, thanks Enrique. I know that both rockers are not pretty, but when comparing this car to my '81, I know that the floors and the frame rails beneath the floors are solid. This should mean that the '75 is in better structural shape than the '81, right??? --Chad

Hey everybody, here is the '75! I just picked it up yesterday. It's not pretty, but it is solid other than a few holes in the rockers and doglegs. --Chad

Bonzi- Yes, this is the only 4 year Restoration program in the U.S.. And actually, we send a car to Barrett-Jackson every year. This year we sold a '56 T-bird and it ended up selling to Tony Stewart I believe... Yes, Jay Leno does help. He is on the board of directors for the school because of the program. We don't see or hear from him much, but he said once he retires, he will probably be around more often. As for the show, you can pre-register or just pay at the gate. It doesn't matter. --Chad

Thanks Gary. I will definitely keep those in mind. I haven't been having the greatest luck so far just listing 'parts car', so I will have to try selling those. It looks like most stuff is reproduced. Is this true? --Chad

Hey Bonzi- Yes, we have a car show every May on the campus lawn (I don't know the exact date yet), and there are also tours of the facilities that day as well. If you want, you can schedule a tour for another day other than that of the show. People come through the building on tours quite often. How far from McPherson are you? --Chad
