Just wondering if there have been any substantive conversations about doing another group buy of the Stage 1 Euro springs. I know some of the club members worked to do this the first time (much appreciated), just didn't have my '73 at that time. I would love to get these springs for the refreshment of my car. I (unfortunately) need to keep my 73 240z outside for a while until garage is de-cluttered and on occasion thereafter and was wondering what people here recommend for a good car cover. Thanks.

Count me in for purchasing a set if there is a second production run. I would also love to know all the spec's on the Euro springs in case I need to get some wound in town as a last resort. Thanks.

Fool....I have the same flattop carbs and the same problem with one side running rich (mine is the rear side though). In reading the FSM, I came across some info on the accelerator/power pump as a possible cause. If the diaphram in the pump has deteriorated fuel can be leaking into the carb causing the rich running. I plan on checking this tonight. I will let you know.

Well first things first....since I am not sure how the fuel system was left before the car sat for 15 years, I was wondering if anyone knows of a fuel system cleaner/solvent to rid the tank and fuel lines of that nasty varnish that will probably be in there. Thanks in advance.

I would like to welcome myself to this site as I have just acquired my dad's old '73 240Z HLS30 139584. He passed away last year and I finally got a chance to tow it from Va Beach up here to Richmond, Va. It has been in the garage (driving my mom nuts) for 15+ years. Probably only driven 1000 miles in the 5-7 years before that. So needless to say it is in great shape. No rust at all...all original parts...no body damage...good bumpers etc. Only thing is that it has not been turned over in 15+ years so I have a little work to do just to get it running. Then gotta figure out what I want to do with it. So I will be here with lots of questions over the next couple of years. Look forward to all the help and advice. Thanks.
