Sorry Tony, Don't agree. That one looks almost as bad and we haven't seen close ups. He should bite the bullet and spend 5-7K and start with a better structure that doesn't need floor pans to start with.

Blue, The white Z in your first post looked too good to be true, but even with the small pics you can see the green and silver under the white. Too bad. But I agree with you, any one of the Z's you posted is worth the money they are asking compared to the $2,000 parts car he is looking at. Ted,you should run fast and far from that car .

Ok Bad news:disappoin. After placing order, successfully, and thinking that I scored a new bumper, I was informed that they are no longer available:angry: I sent them two emails and after no response I called. Took the lady a while to figure out that the bumpers are no longer available:stupid: Back to the drawing board.

Where did you get the calipers from? I ran into the same problem. I got my calipers from ebay. They looked like they were rebuilt and ready for install, wrong! After two new master cylinders and bleeding and re bleeding the brake system I figured out the the calipers were junkers that were just cleaned up nicely. The internal seals were shot. They didn't leak on the outside, which is what really threw me off for a while. My next problem was figuring out what they were out of. Thank god for the internet! I figured out that they were out of a late 80's 240 sx. Once I had that info it was easy. Bought the rebuild kit and case closed.

Might help a little in economy, but it will definitely help in the driving experience overall. Make sure your car is tuned correctly and tires inflated and enjoy the ride.

Dave, did they keep you after your claim? Did your premium go up?

Sorry to be a downer, but if your asking about replacing the rocker and dogleg it might be too much for you to attempt. Better to have a body shop do the work if you car about the car.

Also installed one about a year ago. No problem at all.

1984 Z-28. I bought it brand new. Drove out of the showroom, steering wheel was off center and front rotors were warped. Should have realized at that point that this was a monday morning car. The car was in for various repair 11 times in the first year. Car stranded me 200 miles from home, at that point it had about 3000 miles. Turned out to be ignition related. I tried to give it back under lemon law but, because the problems were fixed each time the car wasn't considered a lemon. The car looked good but what POS. Was turned off to GM products after this experience and never bought an other GM.
