Thanks for the advice...it sounds good, but the wife and I have other important stuff to save for, like a house... Mom did promise the car to me back when I was in high school though..."When I get too old to drive it"...and she's known I've wanted it ever since I was 3. The fact that I grew up riding around in it all the time makes it a little more special, you know? Somewhere I have a pic of her with it from before I was born...I'll post it if I can find it...

Just wanted to say hello to everyone here...I'm fascinated by all the restorations everyone here seems to be performing. My mom has a blue '71 240Z and lately it seems I cannot wait for her to hand it down to the next generation...any tips? (either how to remain patient, or how to convince her?? ...)
