Fairlady 432 at Auction
I mentioned it because of the comparison between L24/S20 in racing. Not really relevant but I know what I’d go with based on what I mentioned. Carry on no need to get hurt. Unrelated, but your brown hornet was the main reference for my 240z engine bay...not the Rebello. Love that Z ?

OS Giken dual cam setup as the ultimate s30 setup for me. I have 3.0L Rebello now and can’t imagine how much better that would be.

I have been the owner of this 240z for the past 3 years. I've made some improvements to the car and its a joy to own. I ended up buying it's older vin twin (1 vin lower) a few years later and had them together in the garage. That was a cool thing to see. Full Brand New Fujitsubo Headers and exhaust system. Brand New Old Stock 40PHH Mikuni Triple Carbs Brand New set of Watanabe Wheels Some New Old Stock OEM parts throughout the car. Here are some pictures of it now.

Stroker 3.1
Wondering if the Datsun Spirit built stroked motors have the same “diesel” like sound at idle like the Rebello built motors do? Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Header / Intake Stepped Washer
Just called Pacesetter who manufactured the headers on my Z and they do offer them so I'll give it a try.

Header / Intake Stepped Washer
Agreed, although I have seen ones before that looked like they were manufactured so thought I'd ask. Thank you

Header / Intake Stepped Washer
Does anyone have a source for stepped washers to properly mount an intake manifold / header when there is a flange thickness difference? I've added a picture as an example. I know one can be filed down but just wondering if there is a ready source with different step lengths that can be ordered.

32K mile 1976 280Z Original - Survivor
$36k 280z had a radio delete plate, 20k more miles and the night picture of it in the parking lot looks like a $12k condition car. It was a very nice Z but the differences in pricing I see on BAT just don’t make sense. Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

32K mile 1976 280Z Original - Survivor
How is this 76 worth $20,500 more? Color? The color would not demand that much of a difference although it can impact price but not that much of a gap unless it was a extremely rare color which doesn’t apply to the Z market. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1976-datsun-280z-3/ Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Man, nothing is a secret or a find anymore. Not only are they a challenge to buy because of the market, the word spreads instantaneously. I get it but it’s frustrating. Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
