  1. Leon if you buy the one and only one they have I will track you down and give you a weggie.
  2. Well one is your neutral switch, one is the reverse light switch, and I have no idea what the other one is.
  3. That is a pretty car with nice paint. I would have liked to see the OEM mirror on it, as those look too far back, but I am sure that can be fixed with a little body work. Other than that, I think it looks great. It has controls for an air conditioning system in it. But no AC. The stereo and speakers are a preference thing. Not a deal breaker. I will be watching what this one goes for. But 9100 dollars is starting to get into strong money.
  4. Oh Dear God, I was saving up for something else and you post this!!!! I wonder who made it? This is beautiful. Can you tell us the diameter?
  5. I think that guy can hold his head up high. He is a brave soul to let somebody esle thrash his car so thoroughly. I can bet that that guy is going to be buying a big brake kit very soon!
  6. I always thought that having mirror on the fenders, now matter how great would get in the way while working on the engine.
  7. I am a subaru guru of sorts, have had nothing but them for 12 years. My THIrd Subaur was a bugeye. Somebody spent some real money on that one as it has the nice JDM lights that were about a grand back in 2002. It obviously had aftermarket wheels before it was sold, as those are just OEM Subaru wheels. Remeber you will need a +53mm offset for any subie.
  8. I love the way 15's look on my car. 16" panasports would look the business as well. But I run 15x7 and I think that 205/55/15's look spot on. I plan to pick up another set of these tires for my VTO Lemans and sell my 195/60/15's Bridgestone 960A's. Which are truthfully a great set All season tires I just do not need all seasons here in Texas. Currently you can get dunlop Direzza's and Yokohama S'drives in 205/55/15
  9. Dang'it Guy, every time I see your cars, I second guess paining my spook. Seriously you should open a museum. One day I hope the paint on my old gal looks as great as your 901 silver baby
  10. OH mike is being funny... His green Z put up some top speed runs that made a few Porsches tuck their tail and run. Lets put it this way...MIke and Alex said it best. The Porsches ran out of testicular fortitude before the Z ran out of top end! HUZZAH!
  11. but it is a pretty cadmium NOS part, I must leave it. As you know a car is faster the more cad plated hardware it has. CAd plating is like putting a Type R sticker on your HOnda... Leon, GREAT find. I have no idea why I did not look at Piercemanifolds myself. I love their stuff. Oh I got my lever arms from the UK Aston Martin shop. I will snap some pics of it tonight. They are pretty cool.
  12. Leon, I just used the ones from MSA...listed here below.. Motorsport! K&N Tall Air Cleaner, Weber DCOE/Mikuni PHH, 40-48 - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts I thought about getting some ITG's, but I had some of those go south on me before. The foam turned to mush.
  13. My advice is to call around. I had ZERO luck with my Type A four speed, but shops seemed more ready to work on the B types of trannies. I wish you luck, but I would look up Awesome Z, as he is one of the foremost experts in Z's in Houston, he may know of somebody or maybe he can do it himself. They are very reputable in the Z community in Houston.
  14. I would be scared to DEATH to do what you are attempting. What steps are you taking to ensure the car does not... how can I say this... break in half. I would not trust mself to weld that thing up. You sir are a daring steely eyed missle man.
  15. For reference, my car runs 205/55/15 on the panasports. I run 195/60/15 on my LeMans VTO's. Both fit without any issues on stock bodywork with tokiko springs on board.
  16. Well I broke down and ordered one of those NOS rear license plate light assemblies. I am VERY pleased with the quality. It is an OEM part, and looks spectacular. So nice to hvae OME wiring, connections, and fit and finish. If you need this part or yours is looking kind of ratty like mine was, this is a great buy. As you can see, mine was um... worn.
  17. Well here is my baby with the new K&N filter set up. Really fills up the engine bay. I have no doubt they will work better than my velocity stack filters, But they are a bit tight around the coil and the master cylinder. Took digging deep into my specialty tools to get a screwdriver that short! sorry for the crappy cell phone pic. My DSLR batter was kaput.
  18. I have never seen that air dam before. Does it bolt onto the stock lower valance panels, or does it replace the stocklower valance panels. On first glance it looks like you have plenty of room up there.
  19. I mean the fact that a 240 and 280Z are in the same show and can be mentioned in the same breath as a Healy, a Jag, and a Ferrari is pure win!
  20. I am just here to say how pretty that old celica/supra is.
  21. Oh man Mike it would be great to see ya man. Your car is just to beautiful for words...It would be awesome if you could take a trophy home with you buddy! I have a kitchen pass for that event I am pretty sure. So I am penciling it with a bold marker. Can't wait to see ya man.
  22. Well car show season is in full swing all over the country and Texas is no exception. I am planning on attending this show at Ellingonton Field. Hope more Z's can make it.
  23. UPDATE: My parts shipped from the UK today. 132 dollars worth of linkage is coming and sadly I am perfectly happy with how my throttle feels right now. But I will post pictures of the solution the Aston Martin guys came up with. They are shipping me three carbs worth of levers, springs, brackets, etc. Pics to come.
