  11. LOLOLOL... You are a crazy man. If anything I would put it in the roadster!
  12. The thought has occurred to me. The only thing that keeps me from doing that is the E31 is hard to find and I may want to one day use it on my L28. I cannot fathom an L24 would go for much.
  13. It has been stored carefully in my storage building. Just sitting their. I have the urge to do an engine build, but, not sure I can do anything more interesting than my Datsun spirit L28 I currently have. Eiji's engine has been completely flawless for many miles and a 1000 mile vintage rally and track day or two. But an E31 L24 is just sitting their. It did not burn any oil and did not smoke ever. It had great compression although I forgot what it was, and was running beautifully when I pulled it. I will never take my car back to 100% stock, as the L28 power is too addictive. But I hate for an original Z L24 to go to waste? Any ideas what to do with it.
  14. Oh man... you evil man. May all your children be born naked.
  15. Amy glad you are still on the hunt. Maybe I missed it, but can you tell us how you plan to use the car? The orange one has been taken in a direction to fulfill the dreams of a particular persons taste. Does this look appeal to you? Do you prefer stock? How much do you want to work on the car? Is it intended to be a daily driver. We can look at any Z and comment on condition and parts and fitment, etc. However, without knowing a bit about you, we cannot make a good match for you and your desires and wants. The car should fit the driver, and the driver should fit the car.
  16. WE have have many many forts along most port cities that served much earlier than the civil war. In reality many forts were built, rebuilt, and added to over the decades of time. The owners and enemies varied over the years. Even though we started out over here 'officially' in 1492, a native population of nomadic and non nomadic native Indians were already well settled. It is very interesting what we chose to bring over from the mother land and what we did not. Castles represented centralized power, and form its very beginning, America was about every man making his way himself, taking care of himself, paving his path into the wild. Centralized power is what most colonists were running form. Just a thought. I did a 9 day driving tour of Ireland, and it was simply spectacular. Also went to london a couple of times for F1 races. Your entire country, is breathtakingly beautiful!
  17. I will check that out! I know what you are referring to. The slotted holes allow for some movement. Maybe I need to look at my TC rod adjustment.
  18. It just makes no sense. Geometry is what it is. Me thinks their is some rubbing..
  19. I have no idea how you are lowered on 15x8's and not rubbing like crazy in the front. It boggles my mind.
  20. Just to clarify, if you have an aftermarket front spoiler like dmorales and mike show in the picture, then the front can take a LOT more tire. ON a 240, the factory body work curves back under versus following the side. Then the tire turns, it rotates a bit forward as well and can rub while backing up some times. It just really depends on the amount of lowering and the tire and wheel combo. But anything over a 205 on my car and I will rub the dickens out of my front tires if I turn them to full lock.
  21. I was about to say NO WAY on earth you are running 225's on a stock bodied Z uniess you have coilovers. And you have. So I will shut up.
  22. I think it has been beat to death, but body color is perfect. If it were a euro chin spoiler or BRE then you can get away with matte black, but those eurothane style need to be painted. siteunseen, you are killing me by posting that orange Z. Almost makes me want to put fender flares on mine! STOP IT
  23. Hey a silver Z car with Eibachs and panasports... Man that is a good look. Probably the best combination ever in the history of all things Z's.
  24. The front valance dramatically helps tire fitment...Looks good.
  25. Keep this in mind. An engine with a shorter stroke will tend to be happier revving a bit, and an engine with a longer stroke will be happier at lower rpm. Long stroke motors tend to make some nice mid range torque. The angle at which the rod and cylinder centerline differ is something to think about. None of this means your engine build will not be terrific. Just that engines have different attitudes and stroke length is just one variable to consider.
