  1. IMHO, Have fun with it and make it YOUR Z. Without the original engine, you will never get out of it what you put into it. Hell, even with matching #s, you might not either.
  2. Now I think about it, they are +4. Thanks! I will probably prefit them before I buy.
  3. 7277 and Jeffrey's Zs look awesome! But, I do agree with you on all counts! Maybe I will look into lowering it a bit. IMO to pull off the "complete look", it does need it. Now I guess I'll start looking into posts about lowering. I haven't investigated how to go about doing that. Sure, Panasports are popular in the Z world, and for good reason, they really do look great. As popular as they are, I will be one of very few cruising Dallas with them. Now I'm going to check out your ride. Thanks 240zx, 7277 and Jeffrey.
  4. Like many, I really covet the Panasports, but am unwilling to fork over that kind of money. I found some 15" and 16" Rota RB wheels with the right offset, actually -4. I don't want extremely low profile tires, as it make the wheels look too modern for the car (to me). Probably 205 or 215 55's or 60's I do not want to lower the car either. Does anyone have any pics of z's on 15's 16's, not lowered. Of course I don't want it to look too tall, or have too much space b/w the top of the tire and the wheel well. I realize that it's all subjective. BTW, I am not racing, just driving hard on some of my favorite twisties around town. I want to leave the ride height the way it is so I can put on the original wheel/hubcap set up and it look original if I choose. Thanks for your help, Adam
  5. I had my used fan shipped to me for a total of $60.00. I installed it in less than a 1/2 hour. It is the easiest and one of the best upgrades you can do. I love it. Thanks!!! Adam

I also noticed the telltale signs of a JTR Conversion, as the distributor is underneath the hood latch, not in front a bit. And the hood latch is custom. Even if it is real, wouldn't you call this a heavily Molested Scarab? But the winning bidder will probably do his homework later, especially if he plans to return it to a more original condition. Then he will realize that he paid too much for that car. I would take many of the cars on HybridZ before wasting my $$ on the alleged #153. I'll take an original 240z over all of them anyway, which is why I have one. I appreciate all the work you all have done on this forum. I am on here regularly, but have much more to take away from it that I have to add.

I am insured with them, too. They were great on the phone. I received a newsletter with a big purple Mopar on the front. Inside, there was a short column on the rising interest in collectable Japanese/imports. The z was featured. Very cool. Having Hagerty publish that article will help our z values increase. Have fun...
