It was designed for a customer who had the ugly fiberglass TWM piece that cost $450. And it is intended to attach a hose with a filter infront of the radiator for cold air intake. The box has a rubber seal to keep it leak proof. This also keeps you from running short filters and air horns. I run 2.5" air horns on my race car.
