staggered 17" sport max wheels.
I am currently running 17x7 wheels with 245/40-17 tires all around. My car is lowered about an inch and I don't rub at all. I am looking to go 18x7.5 front and 18x9.5 to 11.0 rear. I do have fiberglass front fenders with a slight (about 1.5") flare and 4" rear fender flares (to be installed). The problem I have is that I don't want to run spacers and I can't see spending $2000.00+ on 3 piece wheels.

This hose thingy???
If you can't find one from any of the NOS or factory reproduction sites I would create my own. I don't think it would be that difficult to fabricate. check out these sites; www.datsunzparts.com www.datsunrestore.com

18" Wheel options
Does anyone out there have an idea where I can purchase a set of 18" wheels that will bolt on my 260Z without requiring spacers. I would prefer to run 18x7.5 up front and 18x9.5 to 11 in the rear. Every wheel I have found that fits my needs are 3 piece and expensive. I don't have a problem with 3 piece wheels I just don't want to pay the price. I am even willing to go 17" if the look/price is right. I just need a nice fat wheel/tire in the rear with a deep lip.

clutch opions
I have had at least 4 different clutches in my car in the last 10 years. What you really need to ask yourself is "do I plan any performance upgrades and how hard am I going to drive?" I started with a stock replacement which started to fail shortly after the break in period. I upgraded from the stock replacement with a stg 1 clutch (don't remember the brand), it failed about a year later. If you are just looking for a good upgrade with a soft pedal go for the Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. I had that one for a few years (not strong enough for a hard driven, modified car), it was a good all around clutch. I'm running a Spec 4 puck race clutch now. The Spec clutch is a little harsh but I like it for my style of driving. Hope this helps.

Replacing with fiberglass/
Don't bother with showcars. Not only are they impossible to get a hold of, but when/if you do the guy always tries to raise his listed prices. Try reaction research or rrt motorsports. www.reactionresearch.com/subtlez.html - 3k http://home.att.net/~rr-team/index.htm
