Solid Front Differential Mount?
I installed a solid mount on my diff about 5 years ago. I don't think it is too harsh for the street or harsh at all for that matter.

Dynamat. How much is enough?
Roadkill from Stinger is a good alternative, a little cheaper, works good and they have multiple products.

L28T or L28 with added turbo
The turbo AFM is bigger but has a different pin configuration. You have to take the electronics out of your AFM and install them into the turbo AFM that way you can leave your stock ECU. I don't think there is a difference in the distributors.

which carb is for me
Your best, cheapest bet is to buy a set of used 4 screw SU carbs and rebuild them. The 4 screw round top SU's are so easy to work on and they are a great addition to the 260z (I've had them on mine for over 10 years). You should be able to pick up a set on Ebay fairly cheap and rebuild them for less.

Fitment Issue
Your best bet is to get the specs from Sparco and make sure they are not too wide or tall. I have tried 4 different seats that all "fit" but all had their issues.
