  1. Im almost ready body-wise to drop in a power plant. I've got a VG30, which I was planning to slot in, but have decided to go with a stock motor, so I can just get the thing back on the road. Thing is, I sold the original one! (oops) So, what I want is a ready to run reco motor, that I dont have to mess about with too much. What I am wondering, is wheres the best place to go, sort of canberra / sydney (maybe melbourne) area? Or should I just keep scouring the Trading Post. Any ideas, plugs welcome.... Oh, I need a box too.... How much should I pay for the lot?
  2. Okay then! looks like I'm having some problems posting the large scale pics here... If someone knows how to copy the properties of the pics from my msn album after you enlarge them, give me a yell, or..... just click HERE!
  3. Hi. Ive been checking this site out for a while now, but have been waiting to work out how to get all this digital camera stuff to work!. Im 23, live in Canberra Australia, and am the proud owner of a 72 240. I drove the baby around for a couple of years, then began work on the project. Now, in an area where purists are easily offended, let me state that I love the z's shape and plan to also build an original one a it later, but for now, I've got a bit of a mongrel. The body is based on the Ferrari 250GTO, - full fiberglass, and I think this is the best looking, and well made kit of this sort. Its not going to be a 'ferrari replica' because I think thats just stupid. instead, its going to be my piece of 'art', built with everything I want. To power it all, I have a Nissan (keep it in the family) VG30 v6 quad cam TT. I know it wont be to everybodys taste, but where I live, it will definately be the only one, and hey, I love it so who cares!

I forget which Corey, and which flick.. i think it was "License to Drive" - Corey Feldmans(?) "mum" drove a 240.. A sweet silver one and his Dad says "Are you still driving this japanese piece of crap?" and then she realises she left the iron on and absolutely fangs all the way home! Thats all I can remember, but its stuck in my mind since I was a kid!!
  5. I once had my 72' 240 up to 140mph (so the speedo said) going down a big hill on the Barton Highway. Before I ran out of road, the doors were rattling, and the whole thing felt like it was lifting off the road! Permanatly brown undies and loss of licence kept me under the speed limit since then! (this was a while ago, in my youth)
