  1. i hope so too.i went from trying to get into a 280z to getting into a subaru impreza wagon . bretty big change but the wagon definitely fits my current needs better.
  2. Time just was not on my side and had to let her go. it was a great experience and the people on this forums are great too. ill probably pop in from time to time. and maybe one day ill get back into the Z game. but for now its goodbye. fair well my lady Z
  3. i super busy today so i didnt get to mess with the Z the wire is not a plug type its screwed into the solenoid im not aware of any fusible links on the starter it self. i have a picture of the starter wiring in my first post. i dont have a steering wheel on the car so no horn and i have yet to install the headlight harness.
  4. when i turn the key i get nothing. not even flicker of light in the gauges. im not getting any power to the dash harness at all. thats why i was started to wonder if i needed some of the FI harness.i guess i need to bust out the volt meter instead of using a ground tester. where is the starter relay located? is it set of relays near the passenger kick panel? here's the wiring for the engine bay im guessing the two plugs are for a/c stuff atleast thats what it looked like in the fsm the fusible links are all new.a
  5. overdrivex posted a post in a topic in Electrical
i have a 78 280z with a 280zx engine/drivetrain with triple carbs. i cant seem to get my z to simply turn over. all the fuses check out. my question is do i need any of the fi harness and related fi component for the z to turn over? the over all goal is to try and start the car but first i need her to atleast turn over.
  6. i think you should restore it with your son. let him do what he can and you do what he cant.it be a great surprise, but i think the experience will last much longer than the surprise 7 year later.

  11. the design of the cube has a very japanese touch to it. i think it fit very well into the japanese culture. in america it will go well with the young free spirit.
  12. last day to donate. its for kids with cancer.
  13. Its so good. if its like this from a bottle cant wait to try it on tap
  14. Just bought a case of this beer. kinda light and crisp beer. has a smoky/mosquie taste to it. hints the name. would make a great beer to drink with BBQ or anything grilled.
