Operation 240k
found it, I tried bridging the signal between pin seven and pin 49 with a 10k resistor, but seem to have no signal out of 7. this curcuit uses the signal from all 6 coilpaks, let you know if this works! RevCounterCircuit.pdf

Operation 240k
I'm thinking the XM will be an original restore, back to super pursit standards. Dave's putting the newest sedan together at the moment and I'm working on a disc barke conversion (front and back) for the sedan and trying to get my original tacho to work in the coupe (six coils is a bitch). Then we'll start chasing XM parts, It should be a much easier restore than the K's, I know you can buy almost everything new or repo......and not have to make it...

Operation 240k
Can't give you a cost on the grill as yet...but the ring (which are the GTR black cook top style) are costing me $65 each, thats straight out of the mould in black gel coat. If you want them chromed, it's another $55 each, but then you'll have to repaint the black section. The mould is made and I should have a set made by the end of Jan....I'm waiting for a container to arrive for the front grill that I bought off japan Yahoo......

240K rear wishbone trouble
Standard r31 rear rotors will fit with about 20 mins of modification. You use standard r31rotors, standard r31calipers, standard r31 handbrake cable, and standard r31 brake brackets (these need to be modified to fit) angel grinder and file, but they bolt up fairly easy. Will post pics if anyone is intrested. Second option is what I have on the turbo couple, if your after vented rear you can go with z31 california rear rotor into the standard K A frames, pics on Operation 240k......Important to go fast, more important to stop!!!

240K rear wishbone trouble
Hi, had the same issue when making my adjustable rear end. I wanted to change the bushes, but when I got them from Pedders they looked wrong. (Way too big). The new bushes don't use the original steel shaft, they need to come out, I got my hacksaw out, pulled it apart, put the blade through the mount and put the hacksaw back together. Carefully cutting through the tube only....you don't need to cut all the way through, just enough to weaken the cylinder so you can tap it with an old screw driver, just until you have enough meat to grab with a pair of pliers. Once you've deformed the tube it comes out easily. Good luck.. I'm fairly sure that the track on the r30 rear end is wider than a k's...suspension (spring and shock) also is in the wrong position, is it the rear discs that your after or the cv's?

anyone got a spare ignition barrell/switch?
Try checking the inner key, the flat piece of metal that turns the electronic side of the lock.It might have a slight twist in it, forcing you to turn it past its allocated position
