The only thing we know that will happen about climate change is the massive tax burden that will be put upon the citizens and freedoms lost. Poor nations will get this money, and the corrupt governments will do nothing with it. I have been all over the world and not just garden stops, and have seen first hand the division between governments and its people. Boondoggle, theres no other term that fits, well maybe robbery.

Asia, South Asia, Africa, Norther Russia are ecological disasters, and have been for decades. US, Europe are the cleanest on the planet, and have improved drastically, case in point, LA Basin. Climate change has now become a religious crusade, and some parts of the US Government have taken on the same mantra. The tax burden proposed on the US taxpayer has reached in some estimates 100 trillion. India alone is a lost cause when it comes to changing anything pertaining to pollution, green house gases, etc. My argument, how does one nation change everything we know about carbon emission change the abhorrent behavior of places like China, India, Africa, when the US is already the cleanest its ever been? You can drive your electric car mandated by the government and never burn another gallon of gas, but that does nothing globally. You will get your clean air at the school yard, but that about it. Places like Delhi are the rotten apple in the bunch, theres no fix over there. Cities in the middle of China with the giant manufacturing plants, theres no fix there either. The governments, Eco-social conditions wont (cant) allow the massive change mandated by the initiative. I believe just like the war on drugs, where billions and billions are spent to wage that war, will mirror the war on climate. Normal daily life hangs in the balance.

So with Biden now president elect "for now", and with my extensive travels for work in Europe, it makes me cringe just a little that the main agenda (other than combat racism} is to tackle climate change. Ten years ago in Belgium, I was talking with a man at a gas station driving his beautiful MGB GT, and I'll get right to the point. He was only able to drive it within a certain geographic area due to insurance reasons, which I know is not that far fetched, but I just got done reading articles about Paris not allowing "older" vehicles allowed in the city, etc, among other articles all across Europe about the same thing. With the war on climate change from the far left Progressives, are we going to be seeing restrictions in the US that are very European here in the good ole USA, the land of the Muscle Car, Route 66, and the freest form of being an American, "Hitting the open road" the way we want? So after I spend countless hours and dollars on my 240z restoration and the other 2 classic cars I have, am I going to have a very expensive grocery getter. and not my daily driver and road trip car to various States shows crossing various State lines, etc? I have spent years in Asia, Middle East, Europe, and to me being an American to the truest form is, Economic Freedom, Freedom of a government telling me how to live my DAILY life, and not being taxed into submission. I used it briefly, and it did work good, but it went through material like something fierce. I'll need to go get a soda blaster for the job I'm doing. I didnt realize it was meant for small jobs. I'm glad I have it though, it will come in handy.

A few improvements to the shop. Rigged up a transmission after cooler for my new Kobalt compressor, reduces air going into the holding tank to room temperature. It drastically keeps water out of the air lines. I also made up a 3/4" copper pipe system to catch any moisture that comes out of the tank before going to my water filter and regulator. This is just a preliminary set up before I put in a 5 stage filter system for painting. Also am trying out this small blaster from HF. The cowl area on the Z has plenty of surface rust and a few pitted hole in it. I need to weld patch panels in and I cant really figure outa way to get in there and clean it out. I'm using glass media.

Fantastic, thanks so much. I'm not a fabricator by any stretch of the imagination, I know how to use tools, and I'm willing to take my time and learn. Its all OJT. I have Charlies rails and pans I'm putting in. The passenger front rail looks like will I will be able to keep in, waiting to see how the driver side turns out when I do a little digging into it.
