need lowering springs ideas
PS the ride with that set up is comfortable but firm. I am extremly happy with it. The steering is a bit heavy at low speeds due to the 245s but other than that I am happy withe the combination

You dont need the isolators but it will be stink bugging with the back a bit higher than the front. I am running 16x7 +4 rota rb with 245-50-16s. Eibach springs, Tokigo struts and then put the shorter isolators in the back to level it out. From my understanding Nissan had to put 3/4" taller isolators in the back to get the bumper up to legal height. So grab any 2 240 isolators or 2 front 280's and stick them in the back and it will come out level.

I ran eibach springs and tokico hp shocks on a 76 2+2 and really liked the look and performance. Had to run the 240 or 280 front isolator bushings in the back also to level the car out. I dont know how to post pics on here but will be more than happy to email you a few if you need

16x7 Rota RB and Eibachs
I have a 2+2 and am running eibachs with tokico blues and 16-7 +4 rotas rb with 245-50-16 and have no rub issues. I did trim a bit off the front airdam but no rub on fenders. Now I believe the rear body work of a 2+2 is 2" wider but the front is the same(anybody please feel free to jump in on this). I dont know how to attatch pics but if you email me I will send you some pics. justinp551@yahoo.com

240-280z S12 Front brake upgrade using AM vented rotor made for stock calipers?
Per spacers... Just for info on this set up. I have this set up on my 280z and like it. Wide calipers, 300zx vented rotors and spacers. However, take note with the spacers. I purchased the big brake kit and installed it. I had a problem with the new supplied rotors being warped and slightly hitting the calipers. After taking them apart a few times, I found that the spacer was not relieved enough to slip over the small radius on rotor mounting surface of the hub. There is a small radius the spacer was hanging up on and not sitting down flat (.020" gap). I took a dremel tool and ground a small bit around the inside edge on one side and it all goes together true now. If you have any questions, please let me know as it frusturated the hell out of me.

Question about flywheel and clutch
I have done a fair amount of searching on here and Hybridz and still don't have a answer as to how well this set up works. Any feedback would be great. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EXEDY...1%7C240%3A1318 It is going on a 280 2+2 3.1L with tripple webers. I would like any other input on any other ideas or opinions. I am not drag racing this thing but want to take it to a track day every once in a while.

1983 280zx Flat Top Pistons
I dont mean to interupt the conversation but I was told by my dealer that the first overbore size is unavailable for 81-83na z. Is that correct or did they just not want to do some work? And if they are available, do you have a part number. Thanks Justin

1mm Head gasket
I am running a n42 head with dished pistons. I tried to get flat top but was unable to locate any. Are they discontinued or did I not look hard enough? I was on one engine calc and came out at about 8.5 with a 1mm hg. 8.3 or so with the stock. Is it worth the dollars for the small bump in compression?

HELP WANTED. 2 Seater vs 2+2 front track.
Hello, I have a 2+2 and have been looking for a spoiler. Where did you get yours at?

New injectors have arrived!
I just purchased the same set for my 76. I was impressed with kit being so complete and profesional put together. They sure do look good with my polished fuel rail.

1mm Head gasket
I am putting a l28 back together and trying to get a good strong running engine. New pistons, bearings, bored 20 balanced, mild cam, headers, ect. The question is about putting the thinner 1mm head gasket on. Is it worth it for the slight bump in compression? I wanted to put f54 block pistons in but couldn't find them available anymore. Motorsport has a gasket and I have heard about one from Felpro. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

L28 Rods?
I got the book last week and have been reading the ink off the pages. It sayd nothing of different pin sizes other than optional larger racing pins. Not stock though. I'll keep researching. Thanks
