oops my bad you did say it was staying full. Might have a bad master cylinder. Would be my first guess more so than the booster.

driftmunky - there is a good chance it is a bad caliper since my car was doing the same thing. Sometimes you are not able to detect it unless you actually remove the wheels and look at the brakes. Do you have to keep putting brake fluid in the car or is the master cylinder always full?

My master cylinder went out on me and I had no pressure at all to the brake pedal itself. All the way to the floor. Might want to make sure none of your brake lines are leaking. Another mechanic told me the booster/big round cylinder? attached to the master cylinder was bad but so far it has had no effects on my brakes since the master cylinder and brake lines were replaced. I also had a leaky brake caliper which might also be the source of your problem.

Hmm so your saying my fuel tank may be causing the problem? My fuel gauge did stop working at the same time the lag showed up. So what do I do just check the fuel line from the tank? My amp meter for the battery stopped working as well and I know its nothing to do with a bad fuse. I will be buying new turbo/larger injectors for it at the end of the week then take it to the shop. Does not seem like the webbers will make much difference in HP which is the only reason I even considered it. Thanks for all the help.

I am considering switching over to triple webbers from the standard fuel injection I have now. Is there really much difference in horsepower or is it about equal? My injectors seem to get clogged to easily as I had them cleaned out and the car ran great for six months but now lags bad again before I had the injectors cleaned. So should I replace all the injectors with new ones or just get the webbers which I have priced from another party at $500?

I have had a few but the best one was with a suzuki samurai of all things. I am cruising on the interstate at 2am in the morning coming back from a long trip just outside my hometown. A four lane interstate with no cars in sight and this piece of crap comes up behind me and starts flashing his lights like I need to move over. So I just sit there and try not to laugh as he piddles on by. I let him get a good distance ahead of me then punch it and fly up on his arse and flash my lights at him. I pass him in the other lane swerve in front of him and tap my brake lights. He slammed on his brakes so hard I thought he was going to go off the edge of the bridge. Then I just punched it and took off laughing all the way home from a long trip :devious:

Personally I would have asked if he had insurance on the spot. If he said no when the cops showed up they would be taking me to jail for assault and battery. I posted a message last week about not replacing my rear bumper with the wrap around fiberglass kit for fear a drunk would rear end my car. Try sending these guys an email. that's pretty good. I think even a cop would laugh at that in his rear view mirror. Saw one awhile back from the rear plate that said SMILE but it was done upside down. Don't even know how they did it. I still think the best one I have seen was for a Mustang - GOHORSY

Mine was running fine then all the sudden would not start. Several mechanics looked at it and could not figure it out. So after taking it to a Z car specialist the problem was a simple connection right under the dash to the left side of the driver's seat. I do not know what they connected but it prevented the car from starting.

Bluesy is kinda lame to be honest. I think you can get more creative than that. I will probably go with datzun. 7 letters is the limit in my state.

Ok just out of curiousity how many people would buy an art print showing z cars? I have attached samples of some of my previous art works/prints and have considered doing one for classic Z's. These take about three hundred hours to illustrate by hand. Price would be around $10 each and size would be about half the size of a poster.

Same problems headlights just all the sudden went out the other night. Had to play with the switch. Try checking all your fuses. And make sure all the connections on the switch look good. Sometimes if you jiggle or press on the connectors it will solve the problem. May need to buy a new switch. this is the second one I have replaced on mine already.

Thats kinda funny since I do the same thing to them. If they drive a 280zx or 300zx to me that is not a Z car. I am not real high on the new one either . I think Nissan could learn something from Volkswagen when they made the new bug. Keep the basic old Z body style.
