What I recommend you is: 1. Replace engine rear main seal while you are already there. (remove the flywheel and it is there!) 2. Replace both front and rear seal of your new transmission. (front has cover inside the bell housing and MSA(Motosoports) always has gasket and seal in stock!) 3. Replace throw-bearing and clucth (very cheap!) I recommend "Exidy" brand because it is one of the band name for "Daiken" which makes parts for NIssan, Toyota, and Honda. 4. Replace transmission mount and bushing shown in the picture here. http://jdm-car-parts.com/restoration/transmission-mount-link-bushings-240z/ 5. Cluch slave is already mentioned by others. Good luck!
  2. Here is a perfect example of early and later JDM headlight covers. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-240Z-260z-280z-Headlight-covers-New-OEM-Nissan-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem45f6d8ae5eQQitemZ300494138974QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories The right one in the picture is for the driver's side and it is the early one with more round shape lense with different hole pattern. Left one is for the passenger side and it is the later design. If you had the same side but different version of the light covers, the lenses are not interchangable. Reproduction ones from Japan were made based on the early ones.....I wish someone made a late model lenses for spares...... The early one has design flaw one the shape and hole location, so that they cracks in short period of time. I think the boxes are switched left and right on this listing, by the way. I feel sorry for the buyer spending over $1200USD for a unmatching set.... The seller is not describing that either.......
  3. I am the supplier for the decal set, and there are only 4 sets left. A couple of people bought 2 sets for their back up. I do not know if I am going to reproduce them any more since it costs so much to make them in a lot, and it also takes a lot of TLC to store them. We never roll them or fold them even for shipping, beacuse Ultra thin UV protective clear film might get wrincked if you do. :classic::classic:
  4. They are the same thing. Now location of the threded hole on the bell housing for the switch is different depending on which 4 speed or 5 speed trans come from. :classic:
  5. Of course! We just need to get the right curve and length. Rest of hoses are almost ready to go. It will take up to 2 months so, I can buy your old one or borrow old one. Please let me know! For your info, currently we are working on.......... We are in process of making master vacuum hoses. 1. From the master vac to check valve 1973 one has longest end towards check valve, and that is what we are making so you can cut the end depending on the car. 2. From the check valve to intake will be 2 different versions. 1. For Series 1 intake 2. For Series 2 and 3 intake More than likely, we are going to sell them indevisually......
  6. So there was no turbo ZX exported to UK?\ I did not know that!
  7. Thank you! I know they have number of aftermarket stuff.... I hope they have Genuine Nissan ones.....
  8. They should be still available new from Nissan there... I wish I knew the parts #........
  9. I am looking for Genuine Front and rear spoiler for 280ZX Turbo Euro and Uk option. New or used....Front spoiler comes with 2 pc reinforcement pieces. Both urethane pieces..... Need help.......

One thing about powder coating is that it will dis-color against chemicals. So watch out for carb cleane, coolant, oil spill, degreaser, or brake cleaner. And it is a good idea to cover any threded areas and clearance critical areas when you do it. Otherwise you will have problem installing some of the parts. Otherwise, I have done: all the members, arms, and coil springs, and so on as shown here.
  13. Hello there, Answer is struts. Cartridges are not really available. Even finding NOS ones are very dependable and ride quality is not good at all. I do not believe that the judges of Z convention can tell what's inside of them.....
  14. Hello, I am looking for new or used condition original vacuum hose from check valve to intake manifold on 1969-1/1971 Datsun 240Z (Series 1) It does not have to be braided ones as long as it is Nissan hose. Any help would be appreciated. :classic:
  15. Since we have received many PMs............ We should get them sometime in Oct this year....... Believe me, I am more anxious to get them more than anyone else, especially the amount of $ stuck in those products.
  16. I would get them while they supply (If you do not care much about color of the lenses.) I talked to several suppliers about these lenses made by Too Intense, and they do not make them anymore......
  17. ‘ Originally Reproduction European lamp assembly come with harness set and they were only market to customer in Japan. I believe they made 100 sets, and about 20 of them have blemish on the lenses. There are small numbers left in Japan. And it is pricy! So US light set I will start receiving in Oct, price will be close to 1/2 around $495 a set (*)and it will have correct lettering except for "Koito"Name, and even better quality! * I am hoping that this insane exchange rate will not go any worse..... I will have no plan to make Euro lights for a while as there is not enough demand for it.
  18. We have some. Unlike those lense set, these look great. http://jdm-car-parts.com/item-for-sale/jdmeuro-tail-lamp-set-limited-reproduction/ There are only few left including ones in Japan. :classic:

Here is your solution. It is direct replacement for your steering shafy assembly. It works from begining and becomes heavier as you speed up. I just had a shop made for us and brought back from Japan.
  20. I just started ZZZAP Registry for all of the ZZZAP owners!!!!!!!! If you are the owner of 1977 280ZZZAP car, please share story about your car and register today !!!!!!!! http://jdm-car-parts.com/special-tip/zzzap-registry-begins-track-down-existing-zzzap-cars/
  21. I inspected the sample in Japan for final color matching of the lenses. Perfect. I even paid for a new mold with more letters and marks as original except for name "Koito". I should receive first shipment in September!
