Turbo with carbs are not so great. I would go with fuel injection for more precised air/fuel control. There are many shops do stuff like that in Japan, but is is not cost effective, and it is not worth your time. Techinology today is so great! You need to completely re-do the body, drive train with higher r-end gear ratio, suspension, brakes, and aero dinamics before you mess with the engine.

I know the store really well, it is only 40 min. drive from my house where I grew up.But I wonder why he sold it to this store.......rather than selling it to a member........curious......

I have been working on that, but you know $$$$$ is the issues. From what I heard, it takes different type of material (rubber). And this Manufacture does not do it.....So for now, I use very similar material and stick a brass wire (like hanger material) inside to make a shape I want.

Well, I am looking for a 280ZZZP Video Game. Where can I find one? Is that a fund game??? Is it worthwhile having it in a garage? I know there were 2 versions......... Finding one is one thing, but shipping is another thing.... Anyone know?

Update on ZZZAP decal. This has been a major work trying to recreate what is on the car........ Finally, it appears very very close to original ones. Color matching was the hardest part in this journey. We did lots of research and also used less faded area such as side of the body for correct color reference. This particular material is the ones they you to car-wrap, and it is also has 1 more layer of clear for scratch and UV protection. (Very hard) Well, this is as close as original one until someone comes up with NOS one..........

OK, this company just did color matching today, and it is pretty close! Now I should have a sample one this Friday making sure it looks good.

What's wrong with your distributor? I have a brand new old stock distributor assembly for your car with AT/dual points. I would keep it stock. There is nothing wrong with point system, if you have stock engine.

OK. There is no braided heater hose (inlet and outlet) and side bypass for Datsun 240Z cars anymore. Ones that they have at MSA are all genuine Nissan ones, not braided. exact reproduction Braided ones will be available at the same quality as braided radiator hose set that we had made. It will be available in few weeks and also be available at MSA shortly after. I will post pictures of finized product before shipping it from Japan.

This company is coming to measure the graphics and digitize it today or tomorrow, and then give me a sample to see what it looks like in few days. After placing order and pay money, they will print 10 sets. (minimum order to bring the cost down, otherwise it will be $450-500 a set) Please email me your name and address at support@jdm-car-parts.com, and so I will let you know wheh it it is ready. If you take 2 sets, now we have only 4 sets left. I will take it out on a car before I send it to you, by the way.

OK I just got a price quote. ANd this will be done in 2 weeks. If I paid for this company to come out and do a measurement, color matching, digitizing it, testing it on a car, and make a production ones. They will print out the sets. Now I just did some calculation...... This is based upon making only 10 sets. $385/set a set if you are buying 1 set. $375/set if your a buying 2 sets. $350/set if you are buying 5 sets, I am buying 4 sets for my friend who has 2 cars.

Thank you for your great input. We had contacted Nissan in Japan, asn asked them why current rubber upper hose is the same hose for 240Z(S30) and 280Z(S31). The answer was a very simple one. Current rubber hose can be bent and fit, so they made them to fit both of them. Originally there were two different parts # for them. Now braided hose cannot be bent as much as current rubber hose, and that is why there was a little length issue. If we order next lot, it will be shorten a bit.
