  1. Our replacement chrome cover is made tighter than original one since armrest-side gets skinnier over time. So we desigend it so that it fits tight enough without that clip.
  2. I am an expert on original/non original. National Auto Auction Examiner/Proffessional inspector. As everyone mentioned, this car have far beyond over 700 miles. Take a look at how deeply bottom cushon is sank. If you only have 700 miles sitting outside in sun, it needs full restoration all the way. Engine should be frozen by now.
  3. Thank you very much for your comment! MSA and us are also offereing "Plain black" and "all chrome" versions for those of you who would like to finish it on your own as well.
  4. Thank you very much, and I hope your wife will get you one on your birthday!
  5. Like I mentioned from the beginning of this thred, It was a shipping error, and this is what you are getting,
  6. It is actually a chair leg bottom cover. If you could find one at furniture supply stores or hardware stores;), they might carry one. If you look at the actual cover, it is not exact match, is too big for the opening. I have few used ones but they are not in new condition.
  7. OK, Now we have more pictures to show you. Thanks to MSA Staff! The pictures were taken yesturday at MSA. The will be displayed at Motorsport Show this weekend in Orange, CA!

Hello Rich, Congratulations on the first place award!!!
  9. Thank you for your inputs! Yes, This car in the pictures is not lowered and do not have wide wheels either. I will take much nicer pictures soon!
  10. It is a new front spoiler for 1969-1974 Z cars. It is inspired by “G-Nose Nissan Works front end” . Very new in the market. Standard finish as shown in the pictures. Carbon fiber finish will come next week It will be sold By MSA shortly;)
  11. They are all available at MSA Motorsport Auto Now!

  13. Finally we came up with this braided hose for 240Z cars! This goes across valve cover to air cleaner box.
  14. We have all the RHD Z parts, if you need help.
  15. http://jdm-car-parts.com/customizing/electric-power-steering-available-for-240z-280z/ Here it is.
  16. Dear bpilati We are sorry that you received the sample piece. And we totally understand that you were very disappointed about this matter. We hope that you will receive a replacement soon from MSA. Sincerly
  17. I contacted the seller few days ago and got the same photes. The owner was her uncle and she swears that it is the original. Well, unfortunately, it is not. If you look at the worn driver's side cushon, engine bay, undercar, and son on. Having said that, it is a really clean 100K mile car with no cracks on the dash.
  18. Here is our Black one. It was measure by hand by every 1 mm, because original was not the quality so that we could digital scan the whole unit. As close as original in every detail but some areas which needed some design improvement. :classic:
  19. OK. Let me clearfy. MSA Shipped out THE SAMPLE by mistake. I contaced MSA right after I saw your thred and found out that it was shipped out by mistake. MSA tried calling you and emailing you, but no response for few weeks. No offense here. So everyone knows that MSA have done their best to resolve the issue. Chrome finished one will be out in December, but you should get the production version shortly if you return THE SAMPLE. Here I have some of the bad finish on a NOS original one. I have 3 of them and they all look like this. 1. Worped. They are not streight. 2. Pitted chrome 3. Over spray of black paint 4. Heater decals are cut and pasted in 80's as they ran out of LHD version decal. (RHD version decal was cut and pasted for US panel) 5. Some of the holes are mess from being taking out from injection mold. 6. There is almost no Streight line. Everyline was wavy. 7. More and more issues if point out!
  20. We are in process of making all 9 different hose clamp set for 240Z cars in Silver zink. Late71 production and newer cars had yellow zink, but we decided to make them in silver. You can alway get them plated in yellow zink. They will be ready around Christmas time. They will be very close to the right size to match the original ones. JDM
  21. In re-engineering process is very hard as old parts from Nissan is not really high quality (perhaps something is not made streight, even, or not matching left and right.....) So it takes hours of hand-measuring, creating SLA model(CNC model), and test fitting, and then making a model. After that, you put the right texture or finish in the mold. As far as cost goes, it becomes expensive since we only make 100 or so on each production run. It would be cheaper if you are taking about producing 10000 of them. Exchange rate is killing us right now as well. Ash tray idea might be good, but mold for just the lid and body will be about 25000 after paying for re-engineering and making few test CNC models. And the metal cigarette tray must be laser cut and chromed......... It seems easy, but when do we get our money back?...........Very questionable.........
  22. It is about BIG investment. Ash tray is made out of bakelight and it is possible to make one out of high temp plastic, but it takes so many parts to reproduce.......... These hoses took us 2 years to make. With a such a small run, it is not cheap, especially if it is made by Nissan/Toyota OEM suppplier in Japan.
  23. It took us close to 2 years to develop this hose kit for Datsun 240Z 1969-1973 Air pump/Emission system. These hoses were discontined back in 80's and has been almost impossible to find new, since JDM models never had them on early Z cars in Japan. We manage to have our manufacture wrap the hose as original ones. Sold as set only at $299 for the hose set. only 100 sets are available, and we have no plans to make more at this point.
  24. Finally, after Tsunami impacted the production line, Series 1 braided vacuum hose lauched. This hose runs between intake manifold to check valve at firewall on Series 1 240Z 1969-1/1971. $69-free shipping for US main island/$18 shipping for international shipping. It will be available from MSA later as well.
  25. It is triple chrome. Not vacuum Metalizing process. Production ones are real chrome. Once again. It was shipped by mistake and only the sample one.
