Yes will be willing to sell them but honestly don't know what is the value of them. Those are vintage Made in Italy Carbs. Check the following link: http://www.cbperformance.com/Apr2006a.asp

Thanks! That what was I'm was thinking but just want to be sure if I'm missing something. For the Weber, I need to pass a mecanic inspection to have the car ack on the road and theses carbs are not allow.... so will have to work on the SU anyway. And honestly, those Webers are really nice but I don't have the knowlegde to tuned them and I really don't like having a shop doing it since they probably don't know on what they're working and they're taking $ out of my pocket.... I hate to pay for labor sorry!

I’ve just purchase a 240z part car with a lot of nice racing stuff but not sure will be using all of them. It have a L28 F54 block with a E88 ported and polish head, larger valve, modified cam (don’t have any spec), Clifford header with dual pipe, 240z European distributor, Triple weber’s DCOE 45, Baffled oil pan 7-quarter, oil cooler with remote filter, electric fan, and a few more. My intention is to drop the L28 in my 240Z but I really don’t think I need the baffled oil pan and the cooler (how many oil for an oil change would that need!). Neither the Weber’s. Will use my SU with SM needle if required and standard oil pan. The car is for street use only. My question is will have heating problem or others problems by removing the baffle oil pan, oil cooler and weber from that motor set up? Thanks for your help, Joce
  5. no haven't run them yet. I would really like to keep those carbs on but I've been hearing that they need some ajustment depending ot the weather. Here in Quebec, we have all kind of waether all year long. Also heard that it need ajustment almost every week to keep it perfect tuned Also heard that gas can spill out on hard turn with no gas? It have a huge ugly plate underneath to avoid gas going on the headers. Are these all true? And how hard it is to do the maintenance tuning on them? Thanks in advance, Joce
  6. I should go to bed when it's that late instead of writting those down........... Do you want a pic of the E33 also!!!! Very unique head Should read E88.....
  7. Motor on the block those not match with the vin plaste in the engine bay (motor no.) on passenger side. Am I wrong?
  8. The car is on my way home. It was in a garage that was burn. The car was not actualy burning. But the paint is a disaster and the fireman did a nice job to the body by walking on the car............. But still have some interesting parts for my car. Will post some picture this week end.
  9. WOW! Thanks for the info. Too bad those catalog are not online, I have 3 page of parts that was ordered for the car. Seem like it is a 260HP car. This is what it's mention on an evaluation appraisal. 260HP was with triple Weber dcoe45 (Italy version) but I don't think I'm gonna keep these since I'm not familiar enough with carbs. This is a for a week end car. Not for racing. If I stay with my SU, would I loose a lot of HP? For your info, the motor is a L28 (don't know which one.... the vin have dissapear on the lock), E88 port and polish head with bigger valve, Racing springs, Cifford SS headers with Dual pipe, Perfomance ignition, don't know the spec of the cam. Racing oil pump, 7qt baffle oilpan, Oil cooler, ect.. The car was running on standard 94 octane gas. So don't the compression is too high for street use. Thanks for you help, Joce
  10. Thanks everyone for the info. For the cam, are there any specification mention? How about the transmission and diff, are those zx parts? Those we're paid 800$ each at that time.
  11. Don't scanned it page by page if not already done. I'm thinking of using some of theses parts on my running 240z. Was BSR a distributor or had BSR parts? I got some invoice from BSR but would like a bref description and spec if possible. Here are the main parts: Engine: Cam: 99996-E1029 Oil cooler: 21300-E4100 Distributor: 22100-E3101 Complete exhaust system: 50-1376 Drive Train: 5 Speed transmission(close ratio): 32010-N3200 4.11 DIfferentiel with limited slip: 38300-N3615 Suspension: Front spring: 54010-E4621 Strut: 54302-E4624 Rear spring 55020-E4621 Rear strut: 55302-E4621 Brake: Front Caliper: 99996-E7005 Rear Galiper: 99996-E7105 Rotor: 99996-E7121 These we're install in the eightees. Thanks in advance for helping sorting this out. Joce
  12. Great! Do you have a scanned copy you could send me. I just got a part car and it have a bunch of BSR parts install and I have 4 page of parts number that was ordered. I would like to see if everything match. My email is jcote75@hotmail.com
  13. HI, Does anyone have a copy or link for a BSR parts catalogue. Thanks in advance for your help! Joce
  14. Hi, Can someone tell me what is the value for that set up. I put the hand of a complete set up with intake, carbs, jets, air filters and stack. Those we're running this summer so in good condition. Not sure I will need such a high performance set up. Probabbly stay with my SU. Thanks in advance, Joce
  15. Hi, Would like your opinion on this. I know it' my car and can do what ever I want but would like your general opinion if it can help me decide. I've purchase a few months ago a nice 1970 240 Z with a low vin ...2901 It is 99% rust free so mean it's not a Canadian car. Come from California. It has been sitting covered in a barn for the last 20 years. It really need a paint job. Interior is very nice. The car is not a matching number. It have a L24 with a E88 head. Carbs a from the 1970 so are the good ones. The motor runs well but definatly need a good overview tune up to be ridable. Today, Ive been offered a 1972 240Z that has burn. The guy was working in the gas tank and suddenly a sprak came from no where and you know the result. It is still in good shape but all window are melt and a little bit of the passenger seat. Mecanic was not touch. That car was a daily driver and going on race track. It have a L28 with a ported E33 head and Webber carbs. Have a 5 speed shortshit. Cowl over suspension and much more. That car burn this summer so hasn't been sitting for a long time. Engine was built by a professionnal (Waiting confirmation on this) and was appraise at 22,000$. Engine have less than 30,000 miles on it since rebuilt. I was thinking switching the motor, trans and differential in my 1970 to get a frsh running engine + the extra HP. For your info, the 1970 will not be use as a daily driver and neather a track car. Will be use for a few occasionnal ride during summer. I'm acutaly installing some Urethane bushing and Tokico/Eibach suspension. The problem I have is modifying an early number 1970. I was thinking keeping all original parts to swap someday if needed but I don't got the matching number motor so don't know if it would change something in the value. Would there be a very signifant difference between the 72 motor versus the 70? Would it loss all value if it it modified? (even if it's not for resale) Thanks for your opinion, Joce

Got my 1970 240z and a nice Kawasaki Eddie Lawson Replica. You can also see my old snowmobile and when I look in this morning.................. a lot of children toy in the entrance!
  17. Hi everyone. I'm a new owner here and would like to say that I have a lot of pleasure reading everybody comments of the value of theses cars. One point that wasn't mention and that I had considered when I purchase mine is the fact that the early model are lighter and have better carbs and has a result of a "sportier" drive. I haven't drive mine so can't confirm if it's true! Here in Quebec Canada, the Z with nearly no rust goes around 10K-15K. This is the asking price and stay for pretty long for sale. Not a very big market here. A nice Canadian Z-car (please read rusty) go around 3K to 6K! But again, I don't think you buy a 240Z for resell after a few month with profit. I'ts more a emotional thing Joce

  21. Hi everyone, Got a box of part and there was a pair of spring in them. New and never install. All theses parts were ordered over 10 years ago and the car was stoll before they arrived. I won't be using them so will list them on ebay. Theses are supposed to be Mulholland front spring part#2351010 but not 100% sure. Can someone help on this since I don't want to list something that isn't what it is. Thanks in advance for your help. Joce
