  1. Thanks but they're asking for more. They want a proof of it. A document or have the car bring to a car balance...............
  2. HI, I've just got a California 1970 240Z that is now in Québec, Canada. I'm having a problem for to transfer the ownership since the weight is not mention on the ownership certificate of CA. In Québec, the weight is mention on the certificate and the autority doesn't have a 1970 car list in their computer.............. They're are now asking me of a weight confirmation. Does someone have a document from Nissan/Datsun that confirm the weight for a 1970 240Z. That would really help me. By the way, I've call the local Nissan dealer and refer me to Nissan Canada help center. I've told him my story and he said that I should call a Datsun dealer for my problem.................:dead: Thanks in advance, Joce
  3. Was thinking using "final wash" thinner. (this is use just before painting a car to remove any grease left). But was wondering if it would be too strong...:paranoid: Probably strat with the soap and water. Anyone had ever use final wash thinner? Joce
  4. Hi everyone, The interior on my car is black but notice a few place where the black is peeling. The original color was blue and still seem to be in very good shape. So would like to remove the black paint on the trim (which have been change color very well) without damaging the original blue color? Anybody can give me a hint on this? Thanks in advance, Joce

HI everyone, I've been searching for many years for a rust free car but came to the conclusion that it doesn't exist here in Canada (Quebec). While searching, I went on the atlanticZ website and found some nice guys that import them from California........ my research has stop here. Few weeks later, the car arrived at home and I'm very happy about it. Very solid, nearly rust free, nice interior and nice chrome parts. The car seem to run well but need a little refresh on the mecanics. It has been sitting for 19 years bit is very well preserve. Paint is pelling but this I can handle easely (I'm a bodyworker) Glad that I found a low number vin (....2901) and can't wait to start the project. My plan is to remove the interior and motor to repaint the right color (white). No rust (except a little surface rust under the battery tray) so it will be strip and repaint. I'm not taking out the mecanics since I want to have it run for next summer. Probably keep it for another winter. Here is a picture of it and you will probably see me on the forum searching for some help this winter!!!! Joce
