1970 Datsun Fairlady Z432
From the very cool site bringatrailer.com : "This 1970 Datsun is the Z432 model which rises above the other early Z’s thanks to the factory installed S20 Skyline 6-cylinder engine. The 430-ish built came with magnesium wheels, 5-speed transmissions, and one of the sweetest engine notes you will ever find. See this one here at Bingo Sports in Japan for 8,800,000 Yen or about $101k at today’s rate. Special thanks to BaT reader Gerrard N. for this submission!" http://www.wintel.co.jp/wintel/owa/pspe_stock_detail1?in_categorize=0&in_group_id=&in_shopno=632-1&in_carno=56&in_mode=stocklist&in_designno=&in_cssno=&in_shop_disp=1&in_ref_page=&in_winopen=NEW&in_spc_disp=0

Poly bushing : Not worth it ?
In order to solve this annoying squeak problem of mine i am about to try installing self tapping grease fittings as suggested by five&dime. Anyone did try this before ? Did it solve your squeaking problem ? What kind of grease did you use ?

Too Intense Restoration Issues
Did have many problems with them last year on my 73 resto project : 1) Shipping exclusively done with USPS which stink in term of interactive package tracking 2) Prompt response until order payment and lousy email return after 3) Being told that specific item is in stock and once payment done that it is not anymore (short delay between order and payment) 4) About the same time last year i had a problem with an order, after many emails sent without a reply, Troy son finally answered me that is Dad was in Japan visiting vendors In my opinion, while being honest, this vendor conduct is business in a disorganized way which make it a difficult experience. They should be avoided if in a rush for an item.

Ouch! : Swiss speeder fined a record $290,000
A Swiss court has fined a multimillionaire a record $290,000 for speeding through a village at 85 mph in his red Ferrari Testarossa, news outlets in Switzerland report. The fine is based on the unidentified speeder's wealth and his previous fast offenses. Swiss voters approved a penalty system that replaces prison for such crimes as speeding with "day fines" based on wealth — in this case $22.7 million. The fine is more than double the previous record, doled out to a Porsche driver in Zürich in 2008. Half must be paid upfront, and the rest is linked to good behavior during a two-year suspended sentence. "The accused ignored elementary traffic rules with a powerful vehicle out of a pure desire for speed," the court said. The speed limit in St. Gallen, in eastern Switzerland, is 35 mph. Swiss news media reported that the man owns a villa with five luxury cars, including the Ferrari. The U.K. Guardian says the speeder initially refused to appear in court, claiming that he was a diplomat from Guinea-Bissau and entitled to immunity and that his diplomatic plates had fallen off the car. The court rejected both claims. Source : http://content.usatoday.com/communities/ondeadline/post/2010/01/swiss-speeder-fined-a-record-290000/1

P79 Head : Your honest opinion
Assessing is impossible because of physical distance (me being in Canada, seller in SF south bay area). I am relying on the honesty of the seller. For the sake of discussion, would i be better investing these $ locally on my old N42 head ?

P79 Head : Your honest opinion
About to press the trigger on what look like an almost virgin P79 head. Was told that it was removed from a 5k miles engine. The head look new including the cam, no apparent machine work done to it. Price is 150$ and i am on a tight engine rebuilt budget. Is this a good deal ?
